Free car park, ideal place for families, children, or even dog walking.. Have a little shop, a cafè, a small museum, and toilets.. The footpaths are good and well maintained. Children play area also. Plenty of places for nice photos. If you enjoy nature and go for a walk.
We stopped at East Carlton Country Park in Corby. Free car park. Beautiful site for a walk or picnic. Large park area for the children. Cafe / restaurant and a gift shop. Friendly staff in the shops. Nice atmosphere. We had an ice-cream and enjoyed the sunshine. The toilets were clean and easy to find. I would visit again and recommend to friends and family.
This always was a lovely place to visit especially for the Corby residents but now it has an upgraded cafe with extremely easy access. The food is superb and reasonably priced. My favourites are the vegan pasties and vegan sausage rolls. Thanks to the hard work of the Corby Borough Councillor 2011 - 2015 the park enjoys free parking with disabled bays. Playground: Safe and secure Dog-friendliness: Water bowls and bins for dog poo Picnic area: Lots of tables and benches for picnics or food from the cafe
East Carlton Countryside Park is a hidden gem that effortlessly blends tranquility with nature's vibrant embrace. Nestled in its serene landscape, the park offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With its lush greenery, serene lakes, and well-maintained trails, it's a haven for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll or enjoying a picnic by the water's edge, the park's charm is undeniable. The thoughtful amenities and peaceful atmosphere make East Carlton Countryside Park a delightful retreat for anyone seeking solace in the embrace of nature's beauty.
Absolutely beautiful. Lovely walks and different trails available! Quite up and down hill, but there are plenty of benches to sit on throughout the walks. Lovely views: Lots for children as well. Shall certainly visit again.
Lovely park to walk the dogs around ... cafe and toilets on site . What more do you need
Lovely well looked after park lots to do for all ages and abilities. It’s a shame that such a gorgeous building hasn’t been brought back to its former glory
Beautiful, local park. Plenty of picnic areas with gorgeous view of the period house, playground for kids and free toilets. Lovely cafe for your snacks and walk trails. Playground: Sandy playground.
Beautiful, lots of woodland walks and countryside scenery. Lots of friendly people and their dogs. Plenty to keep children busy and entertained. Very nice cafe and gift shop. Public toilets. Wheelchair friendly paths even though a bit steep in places. Long walk so didn't have extra time to visit the crafters studios. Looking forward to my next visit.
A lovely park with lots of beautiful green space, a lovely pond and stunning views. The abandoned country house is a lovely building and as a railway enthusiast, i loved the steam train. Always in the unlikeliest of places, you find something really cool and the park and steam train within was definitely awesome. If i am ever back in the area, I am 100% returning.
