Good location and a nice, clean hostel. The staff were nice enough but we're a little difficult when I was trying to check in a large group went for a trip with uni. Very close to tube station and good food and drink options available close by. The breakfast was "continental" tiny croissants with cereal and a make your own toast section but was good enough for what it needed to be. I would recommend it for a couple of nights but if you're staying longer, it might be worth looking elsewhere. Walkability: Close to transport links but lots of stairs inside
This is a great place to stay. I booked direct through their website for a great price. It's in a really good location - a two minute walk to Earl's Court tube station and surrounded by cafes, supermarkets and places to eat. Everywhere was clean including the shared bathrooms which are enclosed rooms with a toilet and shower. Thank you to the friendly staff and I would definitely stay again!
Overall not for us. We were located on the top floor near the showers. As a small family of three with a 4 year old. It was 27C throughout our stay of three nights outside unfortunately inside the YHA it's too hot. Unbearably too hot to sleep. We even heard a girl check out early and pay for another hotel due to the heat. My child is drenched in sweat at night. The other major issue is the noise at nighttime. The floorboards are very creaky and the doors are heavy. Despite it being 2335 people are showering one after the other. Walking very heavily on the floorboards and banging doors one after the other for hours. Outside it's no better the location of the nearby road is full of cars 24/7. The plus sides are friendly staff, clean sheets and comfortable beds. The cleanliness is okay not 100% but I guess it is a hostel. Some dust, grime and smells. But not unmanageable. Unfortunately I would not recommend to stay here due to the heat and the noise making sleeping difficult leading to not being able to enjoy the daytime. The staff working here are very friendly. Being able to buy 24/7 food and drink is a bonus.
Great neighbourhood, close to stations, friendly staff, good rooms, clean showers and toilets. Quiet nights and all very affordable. It's even free to use the washer and dryer, great service. After a few 'party hostels' this one had a more relaxing and mature atmosphere, which I appreciated. Lots of stairs, but that's what you get for being in such a pretty Victorian building. For the best coffee and brunch go to Elixis at the end of the street!
A great place for a budget stay. Friendly and helpful staff, comfy lounges, convenient snack bar and lovely pizza on the menu. Five minutes walk from Earls Court tube station and near to plenty of bus routes. Be warned that it is over four floors so there can be a lot of stair climbing I was on the top floor! Safety: Floor and room access is by key card. Lockers available for each bed in shared rooms.
Really nice location, especially for solo female travellers, felt very safe walking here at night. The hostel has spacious rooms and isn’t overcrowding the dorms, unlike many other hostels in London. Was also very clean and staff friendly and super helpful!Rooms: 5/5
Overall a good experience at YHA Earl's Court. Always a gamble when you stay in a dorm, but my room mates were largely fine! Good service from the staff and well maintained internally. I would happily come back both to stay in a dorm again or in a private room with my family. Rooms: My dorm had 6 beds, four of which were bunk beds. Each bed had a locker for which you need a padlock, and there was a sink in the corner. One small window which opened to allow a little air flow, and a fan which we didn't use but was available in case of hotter weather. Walkability: Easy to access with public transport links very close by.
We had a fantastic stay. The staff are very helpful, it’s clean and has all the facilities you need. The location is great with easy access to parks, shops, restaurants etc. I would recommend to anyone who would like to stay in a nice area in London without having to break the bank!
Really great for our school trip. Rooms were specious enough, very clean, and beds were comfy. Nice little garden, great service from staff, and it all felt very safe. Lovely location for accessing central London by coach / tube. Would highly recommend.Rooms: 4/5
I brought a large school party here for the weekend. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the facilities were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the generous continental breakfast. The hostel is the perfect venue for an economical London city break. Thanks, everyone.Rooms: 5/5
