Great place if you need a budget stay : The bathrooms were apparently renovated recently and are pleasant to use, the beds are designed so that you have a small shelf, a lamp and sockets and usb charger. If you don’t get a snoring roommate like I did it’s absolutely fine to stay for a night or two. The breakfast includes milk, bread, some jams and butter, some fruits. The kitchen has everything needed to cook, so you could add anything you want to the basic breakfast provided. Can only recommend!
Very clean place with both a hang-out space, garden and kitchen. Breakfast is toast or cereal with milk. Would have be nice to have oat milk as an option though. Kind and helpful staff in the reception. We booked a private room with a bunk bed. It was small but cozy and had a safe, hairdryer, two chairs, table and sink. Bathroom was close, very clean and nearly always free. Beds and linen were clean. Very close to the Earl's court underground station which takes you to most places in London. There is a sainsburys around the corner and lots of good restaurants.
Stayed in February this year. Great location, friendly staff, nice big bright well equipped kitchen. Dorms a little old fashioned but massive lockers and new memory foam mattresses and I had the room to myself the whole stay. Slight downside is the living room, which was comfy but was small and dark with a massive TV so not good for reading if anyone else is there but they were doing renovations at the time so it may have been upgraded.
Stayed in July for BST Hyde Park. Great place to stay, a single woman in a co-ed room, but didn't feel uncomfortable with strangers. Great facilities, place to rest your head and great prices even, in July during a festival! Near trains and underground, great for getting around London. Hard mattress on those bunk beds, though! That's the only complaint I have would stay again, and probably will when Stray Kids do their tour next year!
Very pleased with this hostel! We stayed in a 6 bed room. There were lockers to keep your personal things in the room and a bathroom in the room. There were extra comunal bathrooms available to use in case your room one was occupied, which came in handy several times. Beds were pretty firm but you learn how to get comfortable. The kitchen was nice with a simple breakfast. There was a TV room to read and lounge with games and books. We felt the location was very convenient and the staff were so helpful! I asked if they could oil our bathroom door to make it less squeaky and they kindly fixed it : Would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a chill environment!
It is very well located and the price is really good per night, with breakfast included amazing. People is very nice and kind. The only thing I would point out is that there is humidity bad small on the bathrooms, it just never goes away.Rooms: 4/5
The hostel is clean and has a lot of character walk in shower at the end of bed complete with flamingo shower curtain - great stuff!. The staff are very nice and were extremely helpful. The location is excellent, 30 seconds from the High Street and 2 mins walk to Earls Court Station. Barmy Badger Backpackers is very good value for money and I hope to stay there again.
Spent one night in March 2024 in a private room, highly recommended for the price as well as the location very close to the subway and many shops around and the services. Breakfast is self service with cereals, toast, jam/spread and coffee, which could be elevated, but still very good. I will think about booking again next time I need a cheap room in London. Rooms: Private room with shared bathroom has a bed, place to hide the luggage under the bed, wardrobe, fans, TV, many plugs including USB and USB-C ports AND a sink. The toilets/shower room were on the same floor last floor Nearby activities: A big street nearby but still a quiet place, with many shops supermarkets and restaurant. District line very close Safety: A code is given to enter the place, there was always someone at the reception when I passed, it felt safe. The room door was self locking don't forget the key!!, making it hard for someone to enter when you are not there or if you forget to close. Food & drinks: Unlimited tea and coffee in the kitchen, free DIY breakfast
We been there with a friend and we stayed for 4 nights. All the guys are really nice to people and open-minded. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about the place or London. The room are clean and there’s not much noises it depends about the neighbours and the street but totally fine. A lot of choice about the breakfast and really cool space to meet people kitchen or a little living room with a tv. I recommend it !
Absolutely loved staying here! We travelled for 5 weeks staying at different hostels, and this was by far the best. We loved it so much we ended up going back to stay another week at the end of our trip. The rooms are comfortable and had everything we needed, the kitchen is clean and had lots of space for cooking, and there is a nice outdoor area where we met lots of lovely people. The staff here are incredible. Josh and Chris made our trip so much fun, they had great suggestions of places to go/things to do, and they were great company. I am already planning on coming to stay here again next year because of them. Definitely recommend this place!
