Good pub, not too expensive, good atmosphere - but the DJ and the karaoke was unbelievably loud. I sound like a grandad but it could have been 20% quieter and it still would have been a great vibe. The music was literally about the blow out the speakers, eq'd terribly and we calculated it at a consistent 96db which is actually insane? Surely it can't be good for the staff. We asked about turning it down a bit but it was broadly shrugged off.
Great bar bur the DJ is not nice. Choose's who he wants for karaoke. If you challenge him he lies. Not a nice person. If it wasn't for him it'd be a great bar.Food: 3/5

Went on the 27th April, pint of weak Guinness and pint of carling £9.50 went again 4th May same order £10.90!!!! Rip off, won't be going again, live duo, but singer not great.Food: 1/5
Kareoke was great, with a random selection of music for all tastes, and drink prices are reasonable. Toilets absolutely disgusting otherwise great night.Service: 4/5

Great venue for entertainment on a weekend, just don't leave your drink hanging around as the glass collection team are swift on their heels to take away any pints left around, even for a split second or two as I found out myself when I recently called in with my disabled brother. it can be an expensive occasion if you accidentally fall victim to it, as we did. Sorry guys...but just being honest about our experience. I will still go in, only next time I will be very mindful of where our drinks are, at all times. I still loved the experience, so give it a go. especially Saturdays busy venue at the weekend,
I usually have a lovely visit to this place, but last Saturday, I was out with my work colleagues and we were all refused service. I believe this was because one of my colleagues appeared to be slightly intoxicated, but it wasn't fully explained to me why we were all refused service. Instead, I was met with an awful attitude from a barmaid, shouting at me and when I asked her to come to the side of the bar and talk to me so I could hear what she was saying, she refused and asked the bouncer to remove our group.
Atmosphere was amazing in there. Love the placeFood: 5/5
