The cafe is terrible. Stood in the que for half an hour, the woman was rude, slow and has terrible customer service. Won't come back here to the cafe. She made no sense, talking at people like they were stupid. The hot chocolate arrived and there were lumpy bits of milk skin in it, which was gross. Awful, just awful. A young man took over towards the end of service and was awesome. Well done to him.
Won’t be rushing back. After myself and my other half purchased some curtains in the Hereford store this weekend I was unsure if the curtains would fit so up on purchasing I asked if I could return these if need be, I was told yes and that was that. We then needed to return for a larger size, so packaged up the curtains as well as we could but still in a presentable condition. We decided to have a quick look to see if the Hereford store had a the larger size in stock this is where our issues started. We were met by a man from the soft furnishings area who confronted us about how terrible our curtains were packed and that these would never be accepted in his store as “no one would be buying those”, I agree they were not up to FACTORY package but to be confronted by this rude man I was quite taken aback by his rudeness but brushed this off. I attempted to take the curtains back to be swapped for the larger size when I was then ask to await a manager, by this point it was clear that our first encounter with this Dunelm college had radioed through to advise those on the till to not accept the curtains, low and behold the manager shortly followed by the store assistant. I was advised by the manager these would not be able to be returned due to again not being packed how they were packed in the FACTORY. We then took the curtains back to the car to repack again for the second time that day, we then went back in to the store to return these for a refund as our encounter has well and truly put us off shopping there ever again. Up on returning the curtains, we didn’t have to see the guy from the soft furnishings isle nor the manager. A refund has now been issued, but I am disappointed by the way we were treated in store, yes we all have bad days but is that sort of attitude something to have when you are in a customers facing role? Truly disappointed.
A great place to come for all your homewares. A wide range of products with a good choice within ranges. Prices are generally reasonable, but bargins can be had in the sales.nI never tried the cafe, but it did seem very popular, although waiting times were being moaned about by a few.
Great shop, good value. Even though a lot of items are beyond my budget, you get what you pay for.
Very poor service in the cafe today. We arrived at 2.37pm I was reaching for 2 panini’s, when a rude man advised he wouldn’t heat them as the oven was turned off.nnI am presuming the fridge full of panini’s would be destroyed as out of date.nnA very uncommercial and unfriendly cafe.
