I suppose the chain itself is a little overpriced - generally I have no complains; but I have never had a good experience in this store.

When looking for a sump key, I asked if I could offer up a couple of the products to my car so that I could be sure I'd got the right part; I was told quite brusquely that "I won't walk back and forth between here and your car just to check that". This from a member of staff that I've seen in store for at least the last four years - customer service at it's most disappointing.

My partner just came back from Halfords in Hereford after going in for just a bike tyre and to get it fitted,she came out with a new inner tube which was already brand new before she went in and came back with the tyre fitted in the wrong direction of travel so I have got to take it off and re fit it because of rubbish training and we paid for this rubbish service

Standard halfords, polite staff, strange layout. Car parts upstairs and cycle parts and gear downstairs.

Service in here is hit and miss to be fair. The bike section seems to always be good. One chap on the mechanic section can come across a bit grumpy and rude to their staff members.
