I can't thank Dr Adejuwon and the lovely nurse for helping me through a tricky procedure. They prepped me with all the information and reassurance I needed prior and supported me in the best ways possible during. I really appreciate the nurse sensing I needed a hand to hold even when I didn't ask. Absolute angels our NHS workers.
Dr. Little. Always goes above and beyond. So helpful listens to issues and always gives great advice. So thankful she saw my daughter.
Since moving over from another Dr. surgery in the area. I have found the reception staff to be polite and professional, both on the phone and in person. Any medical help that have required has been given. Medical staff listen and are committed to helping as much as they can There is hand sanitizer and masks available and rooms that have been into are clean. Very happy with service so far. Thank you.
I wish i could give minus 10 starts. but not for the doctors or nurses. for the phone system. the surgery has been asked to implement an waiting system call, like the one every other company has, when you are nr 10 in the queue but at least you know you are there. they keep prompting ''call at 8 am on the day'' and there is no way you can catch a free line, always busy, if you have luck to ring there is no answer. last time i had 127 attempts, by the time i was able to talk with one of the receptionist of course, too late. for sure the surgery doesn't follow all the KLOES, they are not responding, well led, not even going to go for caring. there is nothing less dignifying for someone to be in pain, scare and to be unable to get help. let alone for a mum when trying to call for her child. i know that the service is free and i appreciate this but the things is there is no service because people are unable to get through. and, lets not forget that anything left untreated leads to complications. i understand that its difficult to manage the situation but lets not forget you are dealing with human beings, we have the right to be able to see a doctor.
I have today had to contact the surgery. I would like to say that I had a lovely receptionist when I phoned up to explain my problem. I then received a phone call from Dr Little who was wonderful. The receptionist when I arrived for my appointment was happy and smiling. I saw Dr Little who was lovely and thorough. Thank you all .
This is a copy of an Email sent. Complaint To whom it may concern. I would like to put in an official complaint about one of your receptionists. I needed to speak to someone with regard to getting a face to face appointment with a doctor, about an ongoing medical issue with my 15 year old son. I was told that this wasn't possible until May. She then continued to tell me the appointment booking process, part of which I didn't hear. So as I was about to ask her to repeat a bit, she cut me off with "Can I finish!!". In a very stern I felt like a child being spoken to by a teacher. When she did finally finish I said "There really was no need to speak to me Like that", and hung up. I was fuming, and quite upset. How do you expect patients to confide personal information, when we are spoken to like that. I didn't get the ladies name but the time was approximately ********** I would just like her to realise how the tone of her voice, and her non sympathetic people skills can actually be quite upsetting, but really very rude. Couldn't be worse if they tried. Receptionists have no interest, the doctors have no interest, impossible to get an appointment and they tell you to call 111 instead. I haven't bothered going to the doctors for over 5 years even though I have health issues which need addressing because I can't even face trying to get an appointment let alone expressing my health concerns to the un interested and un thorough doctors. Glad Dr Cakebread has finally gone think he was the worst of a bad bunch. Anyway, I could go on but bottom line I would suggest signing up to any other doctors in the area and avoiding this one like the plague.
The appointment booking system is not fit for purpose and the surgery is clearly oversubscribed with patients. You can only book an appointment on the day. Lines open at 8am, by 8:05am they are fully booked for the day and tell you to try another day or call 111 instead. There is no consideration for patients who are unable to call at 8:00am on the dot. This is not a temporary problem, this surgery has struggled for years to manage appointment booking and been unable to improve its performance, which strongly suggests the issues lie with top level management.
Adequate if you can ever get an appointment. 63 call attempts between 8am and 9:30am today and the line was constantly engaged. Finally got through at 9:45am, and was told unsympathetically to call back tomorrow as all the appointments were taken. What's the point? If I had another option believe me I'd take it and never look back. As a last resort, I've taken to ordering prescription medication over the internet from European suppliers.
Lovely doctors, always caring, always have appointments and lovely staff, they get a lot of people moan about them but I have nothing but praise!
