We went for 3 nights in the second week of Easter, so not busy. Just two to four vans at any one time on about 25 pitches. The touring site is on the edge of a large static park, close to the sea but you can’t see it because of a dyke. Pitches are close together but not too bad. All are excellent hard standing with water and hook up on every one. Toilets are a bit tired and not heated but the water was hot. They needed cleaning when we arrived but were cleaned well on the following two days. It would help if blokes would learn to use a toilet brush! The cassette emptying machine costs £2 but it does a good job and does everything for you. There’s a little shop in the park and it’s about half an hours walk into town along the sea front but with a muddy start. The chap on the gate was very jolly but remember - a smile begats a smile!

Stayed there in a touring caravan. The facilities were pretty basic despite the high price tag. Shower and toilet facilities had not heating and were freezing cold and could do with being updated. Even though you are sited on a hard standing, they are so close together that it makes it impossible to park you vehicle on your allocated bay if all of the bays were in use. They have personal pods which are a toilet and shower facilities just for you, but they are within 20meters of the main facility and were an additional charge of £10 per night. No washing up facilities and you have to pay to use a machine to dispose of toilet waste, although it wasn't working while I stayed, most of the places we have been this is free.

Love the place but some of the singers are too loud. You can't hide bad vocals with loudness. But on the whole it's a great place, good pool, warm welcoming staff and lovely walks along the beach area
