Avoid this garage. All happy and pleasant when taking over £23k cash no part exchange for a used Jaguar XF but when an obviously pre-existing problem is brought to their attention after the first car wash a couple of months and less than a thousand miles later it was a different matter. Wriggle, wriggle, squirm and slither. Nothing to do with the previous 25k miles of probably fast motorway driving of course but all to do with my two months poodling around the roads of Somerset. They have offered me, 'as a good will gesture' repairs at trade price but I will get the work done at a reputable and trusted Company locally who have quoted £250 plus VAT and their work is superb. What Dorset Sports Cars have done for a paltry amount of money is to have offended and lost a potentially valuable customer and to have prompted this well-deserved feedback. Pretty clever eh! Buyer beware or better still don't take the risk.

Chap showing us the vehicle was more than helpful, however as we weren't looking at a sports car, we obviously didn't warrant attention from one of the sales team.

I called Dorset Sports Cars on Thursday morning because through my own stupidity I had drained the battery on my Porsche to the extent that the key was stuck in the ignition, the drivers door wouldn't close and the bonnet was locked shut. Being an auto, the transmission was locked, so the car was stuck nose first in my garage with no chance of a traditional jump start! Dorset Sports Cars arrived when they said they would, were knowledgeable and experienced in the marque and therefore brought the right specialist equipment with them to do what had to be done. Finally, they took the car in overnight to charge the battery and to see if it had survived the total discharge, which it had. So, no trying to sell me a new battery. In addition to my recent experience, I have bought a car and sold two through this company and have always found them to be honest, open and a pleasure to deal with.
