If like me you have problems using stairs to cross over from platforms 1 to the that of 2 & 3 you will need to take a lift up to the footbridge, then walk down its length to take a second lift to the platform Also a word of warning The town center is quiet a walk other than buses thar run on average every 20-30 minutes you can choose a taxi Just make shore that the tariff is no more than £4.20 I was taken the long way round and charged £6.20 being a first timer in to Dorking, shame on you. A big thank you to the taxi driver who took the quick route on my return back

We arrived on Saturday 29th April to catch a train to London. Massive queues for the ticket machines as surprise surprise no staff in the ticket office!!! It's a Bank Holiday weekend and the manager has decided to have NO STAFF in the ticket office. Needless to say we missed our train & had to wait half an hour for the next one!! Get your tickets the day before you travel as this is a poorly run and busy station. also the newly installed machines are hopeless & couldn't cope with the fact we had a Family Railcard. It took 3 failed attempts on different machines before we could find a member of staff to assist us. Even she couldn't operate the machine!! We pay so much to travel on public transport & the service is so poor!!!! What a waste of time!!

Una estación perfecta para iniciar rutas de senderismo, trenes muy puntuales y regulares. Instalaciones con tienda cerca de comida caliente.
