not impressed at all had a breakfast thenbacon was still grunting .negg /toast /sausage/ black pudding/ all stone cold it took all of 2 min from ordering to getting my food I think I got someone's miss order.nand for £14.00 with a coffee never again, sorry .
Expensive, but generous portions.nCafe was a bit dirty, but was busy so it's understandable.nOne of the locals/ regulars walked into a closed off area and knocked over one of the daft fake trees they were using as a barrier. I went over to pick it up and was shouted at by one of the staff for 'going into a closed off area' felt that was extremely over the top for helping a lady who had knocked it over and I was helping. Also seemed overkill to close that area when each and every seat in the cafe they had still open was taken by guests.nFood was nice and portions super, but the atmosphere and the way staff spoke gave it a 3/5 sadly.
Excellent cafe, if a little expensive, but all garden centres are these days! The food was hot and very well cooked. The cutlery here is always sparkling clean - you don't have to go searching through the knives and forks for a reasonably clean one! Altogether a lovely experience.
Arrived mid morning and thought I had come to the wrong place. How anybody can think it is hygienic to have dogs I eating areas is beyond me.nThere were dogs sitting on people's laps eating scraps off their owners from the table, people feeding their dogs under the table then touching cutlery, quite off-putting.nAs we watched, the vacated tables were given a cursory wipe ready for the next unsuspecting customer to pick up who knows what germs that the dog has left behind.nIf dogs must be catered for, let it be outside so those of us who prefer to eat with just human beings can do so without having to look at the disgusting practices of their owners.
Their annual membership excel sent value. Get a birthday treat, otherwise very expensive.
