Visited 21/9, first time for a while and was very impressed. The restaurant was quite full but the service was as pleasant and prompt as you could wish. We have NEVER had a bad meal here and notice that all the bad reviews that we have seen are about the takeaway delivery service. Black Pepper now accepts Tastecard and that makes the overall experience even more pleasant. Highly recommend a visit but cannot comment about takeaway service. Food brilliant.

Went twice and the difference in quality was surprising. On one occasion, good quality authentic Indian curry with wonderful blend of flavours. Next time.same dishes ordered and completely different quality.or taste of food offered! Was better on the monday.

Excellent Indian restaurant and take away. Nice interior decor. Service excellent whilst being unobtrusive. Great value for money. Specialities of the house are indeed special. Will become a regular.
