Delicious meal, great service and appropriately priced. I had pig cheek, venison rump and sticky toffee pudding, timeless dishes cooked well. The ale and wine selection was on point. The starter was served within ten minutes of ordering and the staff were happy to give us time when we asked. If I were forced to look for improvements I would look at the green vegetables on the main course which were a touch bland for my palette. Overall a wonderful meal.

Really love this place and its sister restaurant the Combermere Arms. The food is really good and the staff are friendly. The decor is like a very well presented country pub, clean and comfortable. There is a miniature railway that is great fun for kids in the summer and a spacious beer garden and outdoor eating area. Would highly recommend this place

I remember coming here years ago and couldn't fault it. My last two visits have seen the staff and food quality go right down the pan. I ordered a blue steak last time, thinking that I'd be safe ordering one from there. Apparently not - undigested steak reappeared the next day. Completely disgusted!

Lovely place. Great location. Excellent service and the food was amazing. I might also say the first place I've been to in a long time where the house wine was actually really good. I can thoroughly recommend the fish and chips. Luvverly.

Excellent food and service. Had stroke victim in our lunch group who needed pureed food - no problem, they were so obliging. Would highly recommend the Pant.
