Went in for a kenwood kettle and toaster, out of stock tried the morphy Richards also out of stock, so in sale but you can't buy. Why put in sale when no stock ! Let's see if they are back in stock after sale at full price ? Poor stock management Curry's !
My husband and I just spend 29 minutes on the phone on the help line with Miss Asanda and she couldn’t give us any proper information about when our washing machine will be sorted it’s been 3 weeks since we reported the issue and they can’t give us an exact day just an emailed saying that they don’t have the part, what is the point in paying an Insurance policy if an emergency like this can’t be sorted, poor service and really bad response. We got young kids and we definitely need a date to know when this will be sorted and they can’t provide this information. Totally disappointed of paying insurance for this. bad services
I ordered something via their website after it said 1 item in stock for collection. I assumed having in 1 in stock meant I could go and collect it that day.... I was wrong. I had to wait two days and they told me I would get an email when it was ready. The email never came and 3 visits on the same day to the shop and I finally got my parcel after tracking it via the DPD website. Each customer assistant was as sarcastic and flippant as the next but the second one to have seen me was at least decent enough to give me the tracking ID and told me when it was due to be delivered. The store seems to have more staff than it knows what to do with but never enough staff to be helping anyone. Definitely preferred PC world currys on Winchester Road in Shirley.
Just awful. Lots of staff but hardly anyone serving, people just stood about waiting for ages to be served. Tills not working properly and probably the most unhelpful, unhappy and downright rude assistant manager I've ever met. First and the last time I'm ever going to set foot in here. Just avoid the place and go to the hedge end store. They don't have anything you want in stock or know when it will arrive but at least the staff are helpful.
Went in to buy an LG staff were clearly avoiding providing assistance. First man I approached had a face like a smacked bottom and said J had to go down tk the TV section where one of his colleagues would be. Searched the TV section for a staff member - there were none before - and spoke to a young man who clearly did not want to be there on a new years eve. Staff were unhelpful. I was referred to the Portsmouth store where my TV was in stock. The staff were more friendly there. Everyone at this store is useless and I am amazed any of them are employed - I dont think the staff can be trained to like their job. My advice go to the Portsmouth or Winchester store if possible.
The staff , helped me straight away better than the other bloke in Hedge End, the Southampton store looks small but people work there with love to customers , where big branches have nothing to say but we can't exchange your product , knowing is faulty, Shame on you ! Hedge End Store . Will definitely come back to Southampton West Quay . Thanks to all staff
Terrible service. I had to wait 10 min for someone to sell me the laptop. I live outside UK, and I asked the seller if the laptop could be used outside UK, he said "yes", but when I opened the box I realize the connection was an UK pattern, which means I won't be able to charge without an adapter. I went back to the store explain the situation to the seller, Bobby, hoping to get a new connection or at least an adapter, he was super rude with me and told me to go to Argos and buy a adapter if I wanted to use the laptop... I was intending to but other stuff on currys, but after this treatment never gonna buy anything ever again.
Steer Clear When Thinking of buying TV I've a Samsung TV, 3 months old with receipt bought from Curry's, with a broken back light that failed two weeks ago. During that time, I've become agitated and frustrated by online and mobile assistance from Curry’s and Samsung that sent me in circles. I decided to visit the store. I spoke to Jake, apparently of Management Team, though he seemed out of his depth. I explained the situation, requesting a replacement of a refund for the faulty product. He denied me both and insisted he couldn’t help further than making the SAME CALL I had been making, to repeat that while a repair was booked in the system, there was no day or time frame assured as to when that would happen. Frustrated, I asked what he would do. He recommended referring to Customer Rights. We’ll likely be three weeks a month without a TV. I know how First World Problem that is, but you don’t spend hundreds of pounds for a faulty product from what I thought were a reputable retailer. To receive such woeful lack of responsibility and care for the customer I will NEVER be using Currys again. I’d have been the same getting the tv off the back of a truck. Why is zero stars not a viable rating? Go to John Lewis, Go to Argos, Go Anywhere, just AVOID Curry’s.
Really poor service,I had an email confirming that my order is ready to collect but I still been refused to collect my order because originally when I purchased the items at the store no one told me to collect the gift card voucher as I need the 4 last digit number ,so they kept me for all most 35 min just to get some where with them . At the end when this happened I got really disappointed with the lack of there service and I refused to collect the order and cancelled it as the manager JAKE still won’t believe that I have rights to collect my order even I showed the emails and proofs. Poor service zero customer service at this store and it’s not the first time I get this attitude.
Absolutely shocking service.Went into currys today with my mum to buy a coffee machine. Mum said to the shop assistant guy she would like this one, his reply well carry it over to the till he could see my mum is disabled.waited 20 mins by the till while one guy was sorting returns in a basket. Another guy helping a lady with a returned iron. Lots of staff standing around. The service is appalling, will avoid in the future.
