Came here with my daughter yesterday for her birthday and she enjoyed it so much! The two ladies were incredible.. I want to say Chloe ?? And a lady who I didn't get her name but she was brunette with a fringe stuffing the bears lol. They both were amazing with my daughter. So friendly, chatty and professional. Decent prices too and alot to choose from x
Busy store. Good service from Jane and her colleagues. All staff were helpful and customer aware. From a business point of view it's a master class in up selling. I have four kids and created an online build bear account. Disappointed this didn't have any value at the till. No incentive from creating the account on signing up.
Dog Frienldly. We went into Build a Bear to get our rescue a bear. The staff were amazingly friendly and a big thanks to AMy who helpd us and was very kind to our boy. Good store, but very busy! There was a 20 min wait to "stuff" the bear. Staff are great and really kid friendly which is a bonus. Theres lots of "add ons" which i thought were just too expensive considering it's already £20+ for the bear itself. Kids get involved with pressing the machine /saying a wish etc.
Took 2 girls to build a bear in Southampton yesterday, during half term. They had a awesome time and the staff helped them to choose all the beats, clothes and scent. Very friendly. They were both given a budget and the staff helped both girls choose what parts of the bears they had to buy. Only problem we had was the birth certificates as they wouldn't accept their surname. I came back less wealthy but the girls had 2 bears that they adhore and loved.
Recently held a party here for my 7 yr old daughter and 5 of her 6/7 yr old friends - I booked the awesome package and was sceptical but they all had an amazing time - Lexi our party host was great - engaged the children and was in 'control' when needed to be with 6 rowdy girls!! They all left happy and I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience - well done and thank you Lexi - was worth every penny!!! Tracy x

Staff member names Phoebe asked my 6 year old if she would like voice recording in her bear. I said no due to price and fact my daughter was using her own Christmas money to purchase. When it came to stuffing bear she put a beating heart in my daughters hands and asked if she would like it, my daughter said yes and then staff member asked me if this was ok???? This is emotional manipulation. Then at the till they are making you purchase either box or backpack and then trying to also sell a gift card!! Why are children’s shops trying to upsell this much???
Told my two youngest daughters into Southampton Branch and I was delighted with the young lady who served us Eva I believe her name was she went above and beyond to make my girls have a extra special visit so thank you. All staff were super friendly and polite great experience
it was a magical experience last Saturday thanks to the wonderful staff in particular red hair with glasses man Kieran? Sorry not sure about his name who was so attentive to my daughter and truly brought her bear to life. This is what childhood memories are made of. He deserves great recognition.
