Great holiday house for all 12 of our extended family to have an amazing long overdue holiday. The owners really set the house up for us to not worry about anything and just enjoy time with the family even down to a box of Maltesers in the fridge. Would highly recommend this house.
Great house in a great location. Owner had thoughtfully provided most of the bits and pieces you forget to bring:- 11 of us visited and house well suited for this no. of people. Good selection of walking routes around to cater for people with differing requirements. Matlock great for a lazy day browsing the the shops etc..
Excellent self catering accommodation. Lovely comfortable beds, very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Would definitely recommend.
I can't fault the house at all. Very well provisioned with fresh flowers in the rooms, wood for the fire, books, games, DVDs and so on and situated in a lovely area very close the the river, park, town centre, shops and rail station. Edit: And Maltesers. Edit2: And free WiFi.
Derwent House surpassed expectations. A beautiful house, fabulously decorated and furnished. Elegant, spacious and comfortable. We hope to return.
Very high end rental. The house is beautiful well furnished and homely. This is our second visit and won't be our last.
Lovely house, second visit would highly recommend.
Because the staff are very friendly and it's a good place for children
