Love this pub! Friendly staff, always something every night, sports on tvs, mini beer festivals and a great friendly atmosphere. Food is good and always LOTS of it. Recently attended the curry night and the portion curry, sundries and a drink for under £13 is insane! A great place to go
A go to pub for ok food at very reasonable prices, especially if you are taking a dog with you. The only major drawback is parking. Since the pub is close to the town centre and offers free on street parking which can make finding a place very difficult.Food: 4/5
Home cooked Beef Sunday Roast followed by and Apple crumble with ice cream. Very tasty. Very welcoming staff. Fair prices. The log fires kept everyone warm. Worth a visit.
Nice little pub, has a cosy atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Always great on a cold winter day as the open fire is usual in full swing. It's got enough sport on but it's a nice mix of sport and pleasant company.Service: 5/5
Nice pub, awkward location for finding the way out...it's on a dead end street and turning is difficult if cars are parked without consideration. VERY friendly staff, great choice of ales, lagers and ciders. Food looks excellent. The gent's toilets are spotlessly clean. Well priced venue, live music and sports. One star removed because of a quite loud and annoying couple at the next table. Maybe Monday lunchtime is their 'special time'? Highly recommended.
Went in last Friday for a bite to eat with the wife. Place was lovely and warm, open fire. We ordered a sandwich each and a bowl of chips to share and a drink, obvs!! We had our drink and food came out. All was delicious. We had to leave some chips as I am not kidding the whole pub could of had some there was so many.
This was the first time we visited the Delme Arms. Really lovely food. It was quite busy with a couple of parties so you had to make allowances for the time it took to get our food. There was a good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient. Very good value for what we paid and we will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5

Visited The Delme Arms on the off chance for a lunch time Birthday meal with my Wife daughter and our dog, having been disappointed by another establishment! I am Gluten intolerant, and find it difficult to find somewhere that copes with me and is happy for a large dog to come with us. The Delme made my day, dogs welcome and a good choice of meals for me to eat, and even better at a very reasonable price. Staff were amazing and friendly even brining water for our dog. Overall lovely place, best meal I have eaten while being out in a very long time, nothing was too much trouble, will definitely visit again Thank You Dietary restrictions: Had about a third of the menu that was suitable for Gluten Free Coeliac sufferers, and a good choice of deserts too!
Tried this place for midweek dinner and it didn't disappoint. Fresh home made food. Lasagne was lovely and my partner had chicken burger which was tasty. The only thing we could think of that let it down slightly was that my partner asked for no salad , and a plain burger but it came with salad on the plate and mayo in the burger , but other than that , a thumbs up . We will return again soon
