I can not endorse these guys enough. Aside from being thorough, competent, sincere and fairly priced, they are trustworthy. I have paid Honda at least three times to service my car over the last three years thought I was doing the right thing which included changing the filter. After breaking down on the way home from work recently, I had the recovery truck deliver the car to Deane Vale Motors. They found a couple of reasons for the breakdown, including a filter that had NEVER been changed, leaving the car unable to 'breathe'. It was completely unfit for purpose and caked in black grime. The spark plugs also supposed to have been replaced by Honda had a lifespan of 30,000 miles but had done 80,000 as they too had never been changed. No wonder the poor car had a seizure. But DVM fixed everything and even hand washed the car before giving it back to me. These guys are amazing, they truly go above and beyond, and I will only ever trust them, with my car in future. I highly recommend them. Mechanics / car dealers with integrity are a rare breed - and these guys have an abundance of integrity. They actually care. Thank you guys xxx
I bought a car from this family business and unfortunately discovered after purchasing it that the 'clean MOT' that they claimed it had, had been fabricated. This was done by them doing the MOT themselves and then failing to declare all the advisories that were done previously, many of which were not repaired. When issues arose following the purchase of the vehicle within a few days of the expiry of the warranty, the staff were sexist towards my partner who raised reasonable questions and were both hostile and rude when asked reasonable questions that people unfamiliar with cars would ask. Ultimately, I ended up spending more than double the original purchase price of the car within only a year and had to go elsewhere to get repairs done properly because they could not fix the issues that caused the damage to the car. I would not recommend dealing with this dishonest business and would not return.
I would recommend Deane Vale motors. I found them very helpfully and knowledgeable. I’m very happy with my Nissan Note that I bought there.
Very impressed. Picked up a car from them yesterday. We noticed a minor problem and they sorted this morning. No hassle. Just great service from this family run business. If we were closer we would definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family!
Hello, I am a first time car buyer who being cheated by the Deane Vale Motors to bought a 2013 Nissan Leaf. This is our first time to buy an electric car. They said that it can drive for around 250 miles and after I discuss it with my family members. We decided to buy it. After we take it back we discover that it can only drive for 60 miles which is out of our expect and overthrow their claims. They deny that they've said that. We found them and ask for the refund as there's no customer can being misleading and accept buying an expensive item like that. Moreover this car’s has zero road tax. They promise will help me to deal with MOT, road tax, etc. But finally they didn't. I was so busy for work and we just received a noticed letter said that we will have to pay for the fine as we didn't deal with the road tax. We went to the garage again and they said the car is mine and I have responsible to do it. We told them that is their staff promised that he'll do it for us and as a first time buyer We know nothing about it. We choose to trust them and didn't check for it. They said it's our responsible again. Cuz We didn't check everything during the time we leave the garage. And the car's window cannot open as well. We bought the car for 7500 and they said they can only refund back 6000 for us or we can wait until we got a suitable car from them. It's already one and a half months . There's no car suits us and I just ask for refund today. They deny to refund it to us AGAIN They said it's because this vehicle has devaluating standing here. While I checked the value of the car during the time we bought it and now. The value has increased and not like what they said "devalued". I didn't record what they said before we buy the car. But this time there is email as our evidence. All of them are LIARS. Don't buy any vehicle from this garage unless you want to be scammed
Bought a Nissan xtrail for my Mrs back along had a few problems took it back to them they said they sorted it,,I then took it into a trusted garage to be told the work I had done couldn't of been done and I should of never bought a car from them by this time the warranty had ended the work they did was to shut me up for a bit which it did I'm pretty sure they took good parts off and swapped them for faulty parts after I bought the vehicle you have been warned !!
I bought a van from them, great sales but feel the after care seriously failed. Van had a few issues, water leak, which was repaired by them, but main ones, I subsequently paid £200 and £180 for them to be repaired properly, and garage said “tightened screw/bolt” and “loose wire”. Then complained the PX had serious issues, when I know there was only one issue and they were told when I PX’ed the car. I would be cautious sales good, after care -5 star
Be very careful, I thought these guys were amazing turns out not so much. After learning about others experiences I can see why - check all repairs thoroughly that have been carried out. Spent out over £900 in 2 months £250 of that was for work that was supposedly completed here in December. It’s been an awful new year. Do your research, not all is as it seems.
My mother who is a pensioner bought a car from here last year. She raved about how good they were and couldn’t do enough. The car was all good. However they offered to do the V5 log book for her… but they entered the wrong address in the DVLA system. She only realised a year later when she got a fine for not taxing the car when a neighbour dropped round some post that had arrived at their address. If the address was input into the DVLA system correctly in the first place she would have received her log book and had a reminder when car tax was due. She had to pay £25 for a new log book and £42 fine. Contacted garage and was told not their fault it is correct on the form it was DVLA who was wrong , but when contacting DVLA they sent evidence the address was entered incorrectly by the garage in their system. Advised garage but ignored the email.
Bought a car that was warm on viewing, should have walked away at that point but needed a vehicle for the following week. had a few issues, rear passenger door latch broken & fuel leak from high pressure fuel rail, to be fair this was sorted no questions asked but I queried the clutch as it was very noisy when cold and subsequently tried to reject the car although this was not accepted. Since then the car has shown p2015 fault which on disassembly showed broken intake runner flaps. Fortunately I am a mechanical engineer and have the means to fix this myself, although I wasn’t impressed that it was obvious the intake had been previously removed as a lot of the plugs had been re routed and secured with cable ties& some screws had been replaced with self tappers, one of the threads had also been stripped that holds the intake manifold on and just pushed into the hole that was left. Although this may have been pre Deane vale & there is no way to say this was their work or not I would not go back.
