Excellent hotel. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna and stream room are excellent and free for all guests. The food is wonderful with light bites available in the bar and more choice in the restaurant. The buffet breakfast has plenty of choice and has high quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and very helpful. On the whole a fantastic place to stay!

What an absolutely stunning property! Definitely worth a visit, this property is extremely spacious and has all the amenities you would need in one area. 
Lovely restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and high tea. A gym, spa facilities and much more. Tremendous!

My employer used this venue for a business presentation and Christmas lunch combined. The building is lovely, with a beautiful entrance hall and interesting design inside and out. The Christmas lunch was quite reasonable - it's hard to make 150 meals of outstanding quality, and both the turkey was tender and the vegetarian option was tasty. The desserts were all good. I can't comment on the normal food menu. The conferencing facilities were good and there didn't seem to be any problems there.

Was here on a conference so I cannot rate or advise on the rooms. But the hotel feels stately yet modern in places. Conference room was large and the food at lunch was good. Staff were pleasant and I imagine a stay here would feel rather grand!

I took my girlfriend to the De Vere hotel last week for her birthday.

We got the superior room which I was actually really impressed with! Bed was massive and really cosy, the room itself was quiet and a lovely size. Truly worth the extra cost. 

We used the facilities (Gym, pool, steam room etc) 

^ all of which could do with an update, but they were all functional and she was happy (which is all that matters) 

We had a small altercation at the bar when trying to order food, and as a result ended up feeling ignored.

I mentioned this to the staff at the front desk and they rectified it immediately! 

I was super impressed by the level of professionalism and have the upmost respect for this. 

Breakfast was cooked well. 

Would we come back? 

Yes, already looking into it.

(Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that as a hotel it’s beautiful and I have 0 complaints! But as a spa, it’s more on the budget side)
