I've been having back problems for a long time that were getting progressively worse over the years. I could manage the pain with strong painkillers but in the last two years I developed other ailments mainly in the form of regular migraines, nausea and lethargy. I've been trying everything I could to improve my situation but nothing worked. My quality of life declined to a point where I didn't want to leave my house for fear of not having a dark, quiet room to retreat to until the migraines/nausea passed. That was until someone suggested I visit a chiropractor. I had a consultation with Dr Freya to discuss my issues and what I wanted to get out my visits to Willow Chiropractic. I explained that I wanted to live a normal life again and to be able to resume my hobbies and enjoy the time spent with friends and family to the fullest. Dr Freya explained some of the science behind chiropractic treatment and helped me decide whether or not it was for me. I had my first spinal adjustment a few days later. It was quick, painless and instantly I began feeling better! For the rest of that day I didn't feel sick, I didn't get a migraine and I felt full of life and energy! I've been going twice a week for about a month now and my physical and mental wellbeing is in the best condition it has been for years. Everyone I know has noticed a positive change in me too. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very relaxed yet professional. Coming here has been one of the best decisions I've made in a long time and I highly recommend it to anyone that is stuck in a similar situation to mine.
Fantastic service from all member of staff at the Yate clinic. Very friendly atmosphere. Very positive please to be treated. I have had much success with the chiropractor so far. I started with having a lot of pain and tension all over my back, but now , not so much with improved performances such as breathing better, able to caring out my day without being to tired and able to sleep better on my back. With a few simple exercises to do at home each plus with the treatment at the clinic, I have able to live my life more comfortably then I have been able to before. I greatly appreciate all the work they have done for me so far. I strongly recommend the Yate practice as well as willow chiropractic to anyone. Many thanks.
I’d highly recommend willow chiropractic. The staff are really friendly. The reception staff in particular are so welcoming and efficient. My chiropractor explains things really well so I rarely have questions. The analysis they do before you start your treatment is really insightful, as well as the seminar you can take part in. I first booked an appointment for hip pain that was speedily getting worse and preventing me from running. I also have lower back pain and neck and shoulder discomfort. Since starting treatment, my hip pain has diminished, I’m sleeping better and feel less sluggish. I’ve found this has helped me improve my diet and on the whole I’m feeling more positive. Well worth the money in my opinion.
Everything about Willow Chiropractic in Yate has been fantastic. I went in with pain and aching, particularly in my upper back/shoulders/neck which I am very pleased to say has helped dramatically. I continue to feel happier and healthier. I have improved mobility, a comfortable daily life and feel it has benefited my overall health. The guidance and eduction from staff from the offset has been great, from the very friendly reception team to my Doctor, Jacques Bezuidenhout. I am continuing to have regular adjustments and do the recommended exercises. Recommend to anyone, even if you're not in pain, go - you'll notice the difference. Thank you.
I have used Chiropractors before and went to Willow Yate for treatment of a ongoing back injury which was niggling away after two years and physio treatment, I really look forward to my sessions and the benefits I’ve experienced. On all my visits I have received a friendly professional service. Much appreciation to Sophie for her warm welcoming and efficient reception and to Dr Jacques for his positive and holistic attitude to health management and treatment. Also for answering my questions patiently, knowledgeably and with a smile. I believe this has been of benefit to my mental health as well as physical health I generally feel much more healthy alert and my overall posture improved, and I’ve had an excellent and productive experience. Dr Jacques is an excellent Chiropractor and I would highly recommend. Even if you are not sure about using a Chiropractor I would 100% encourage anyone to at least have a consultation to see if this could help you. Chiropractors are not there to cure pain but to encourage your body and brain to communicate and heal itself hence stop the pain and I am walking evidence that with the right care this can be done, I will still continue my sessions monthly for the foreseeable future.
I have scoliosis so visited the practice to manage my pain. I don't suffer with a great deal of pain but wanted to embrace prevention rather than cure. My treatment with Dr Freya has allowed more mobility, including flexibility in my hamstrings and has helped my posture greatly. In addition to pain relief. However, it's very expensive for the time they spend actually treating you.
Our whole family use willow Yate and Freya and Sophie are amazing. Sophie has a way of being professional and so friendly and keeps us updated on appointments while managing to keep our 4 yr old happy talking everything unicorn. Freya is one of the best chiropractors I have seen over the last 15 years and her skills are honed and you leave feeling elevated. Her skills to treat myself, my wife and my 8 yr old boy leaving us as a family in a better place always. Cannot recommend these guys enough,
When I first started attending Willow my neck and left shoulder were so painful I could hardly lift my arm as I had a major flare up of an whiplash old injury. I had twice weekly appointments, then weekly and now every two weeks just to keep things moving. It has made a huge difference to my pain levels and mobility. Dr Fleur is a pleasure to see. The reception staff are brilliant as well, always cheerful, friendly and helpful .
I can not praise Yate Willow practice enough, all staff are so friendly, professional and caring at all times. I was not sure about chiropractic care but I was in so much pain I was willing to try anything. I can not explain how happy I feel to be almost pain free after just 12 weeks! It has affected me in lots of other ways too, I sleep better, my IBS is better, I have more energy and generally feel better in myself. Dr Hardus has been amazing at explaining how my adjustments help and how to stay more flexible. My neck pain has disappeared altogether and most of my back pain, I am confident after the next few weeks it will be gone too. Thank you so much.
