Built in 1797, the award-winning Alveston House Hotel offers an elegant venue for your Wedding. We have a range of wedding day packages available, including our Exclusive Package that allows you to hire the entire hotel and personalise our services to suit your exact wishes.

Super stay here. From the moment I walked through the doors until I walked back out today the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. By choice I would prefer to stay in a privately owned/independent hotel as I feel there is always a more genuinely warm welcome and family feel and Alveston definitely lived up to that. Room was warm and clean, food acrimonious. Well done guys.

Have just celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at Alveston House Hotel.The service from start to finish was excellent.Last year I celebrated my 70 the birthday there also.As that was a surprise party for me I was so pleased with everything no other place was even considered for our golden wedding anniversary. Thank you to Carol for organising everything and to the staff on the evening nothing being to much trouble. Would strongly recommend it for any private parties. Thank you once again.

WOW - Amazing.
I took my Mum and two relatives for afternoon tea for her 90th Birthday.  The staff were amazing they accommodated for a fussy person and 2 vegetarians.  This meant that we were all able to enjoy the amazing spread that they put on.  They put us in a bay window section of the restaurant which was a perfect setting.  There was a Christmas party going on but they set up the restaurant so that neither party effected the other.  I can not thank the staff enough. My Mother has said it was the best birthday ever.  The food was perfect and was so filling we struggled to eat it all.  I would recommend and we will be returning.

Lovely friendly place. Dog friendly too.

The food is very nice also which is a bonus
