Impressed by the reviews online, I travelled 80miles to purchase a vehicle off of David Wren. I wasn't disappointed. Not only would I purchase from DW again, he's the *only* second-hand car dealer I would use again. Not only do I recommend DW to the car-buying public, DW is the *only* recommendation I make to the car-buying public.
David was extremely helpful, friendly & accommodating. We test drove the car fully with no time limit. We never felt under pressure during the whole purchasing experience. Would highly recommend David Wren Cars to anybody - 5 stars!
We recently bought our Mercedes through David Wren Cars. We found David to be very personable and overall helpful with completing paperwork on our behalf. With any queries we have had after the purchase has been dealt with in an efficient manner. There was an issue a week after buying the car of which the problem was dealt with and resolved quickly. A very pleasant business to deal with and would recommend to others.
I wish I could give more stars. David is an absolute gentleman and was a real joy to deal with. The car I purchased was exactly what I was looking for and absolutely love it. THANK YOU DAVID!!!
Genuinely brilliant. David himself was away but a mechanic called Dave handled my initial approach. Let me test drive the car on my own - superb. No pressure to make a sale - superb. Car in very tidy order. The rear wiper blade needed replacing and they installed a Bosch item rather than something cheap. Really impressed. Would definitely recommend.
With main dealer customer service standards falling through the floor in the pursuit of maximised unit sales, it was great to deal with someone as helpful and genuine as David. No pushy sales tactics and a personal yet professional atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Having grown up with a father in the motor trade who was 'old school' and trustworthy, and being an engineer myself, I have found it very difficult over the years to trust dealers when buying a second-hand car because they have rarely lived up to my high expectations. A friend of mine came across a car advertised by David and pointed it out to me; I arranged a viewing and went to meet David and test drive the car with my family. I was so relieved to find a highly experienced member of the motor trade with such high quality stock, and I am definitely not easily impressed; I placed a deposit, without hesitation, and took delivery a few days later. The true test of a professional motor trader is what happens if the car develops a problem. My car developed a few issues that neither David nor I could have foreseen; all I can say is that David went well above and beyond what anyone, let alone me, could ever have expected. My car is now performing like new and I could not be more happy. I do not write reviews as a rule, but I was so impressed that I felt I should record this experience for others to read. I have no hesitation in recommending David to my family and friends, and going forward I will always look to David to source vehicles for me.
The most practical, helpful and straight forward talking car dealer I have had the pleasure of meeting. Everything was up-front and fully explained. Vehicle transfer were done by David immediately after completion of the sale. A subsequent minor electrical glitch at home resulted in him driving to my house to diagnose and reset it. When a reset didn't work he arranged for overnight storage of the car. A man who goes more than the extra mile to be helpful and accommodating, a gem of a car dealer. David your rating should be 7 out of five stars. ;}
Friendly team, quick and easy sale with test drive hassle free and paid a fair price for the car. I had a issue with an engine sensor but they replaced the part for free without hesitation. They sorted transport for me while the car was being fixed also. I would recommend people to this garage for buying a used car.
