David Lee Estate & Letting Agents

Sold my flat with David Lee which was a lengthy process due to solicitors being solicitors and a young buyer. However this was made less painful with the help of Mark and Sophie who continuously pushed the sale through with the solicitors and chased the buyer. This definitely took some pressure off of me and I cannot thank Mark and Sophie enough for this! David Lee is not a huge estate agents of which you get lost within like other estate agents in Dunmow hence the reason for choosing them. Don't be tempted to go online as this sale 100% would not have been possible without the support and guidance from Sophie and Mark. Thanks so much!

Sold through David Lee in October 2017. Got plenty of people through the door. Katie in particular did a consistently good job responding to any queries I had. Viewings were all conducted by David Lee staff and garnered plenty of feedback both positive and negative. Sophie did a great job in taking the reins to ensure a smooth exchange/completion.

David Lee's Stansted office handled our sale in an efficient but friendly manner. Nothing was too much trouble and Sophie kept us updated every step of the way, going above and beyond to help with matters than many other agents would have dismissed as not in their remit. Highly recommended!

Absolute disaster. Tried to buy a house through them and one of their agents withheld our offers from the seller (illegal) and tried to hike us up on the price himself (probably so he would make a better commission). Rented a property and whenever we asked to get stuff fixed it never was. When they want money or anything from you they pester you with emails and calls, but when you ask anything in return they just ignore you or it takes weeks on end. Was told my deposit would be given back within ten days, It's now been 18 days and counting and I'm still no closer to getting it back. Avoid them at all costs!

We are so happy with the level of service provided by yourselves, very professional at all stages and it was especially nice to be introduced to Sophie Coleby (client Services Manager) at Stanstead, Sophie in particular has been an amazing help enabling a smooth effective purchase especially as we know it’s been a challenging sale. We do feel that if Sophie had not been on the case there could have been a risk of the chain falling apart, but her attitude and commitment to ensuring the sale went through stopped this from happening.
