Knowing ZERO about road bikes but knowing I wanted one, I ventured into cycle heaven. I had no idea what I wanted or what to look for. Andy spent over 2 hours explaining the difference between bikes, the benefits of each and what would best suit my needs. I returned to the store a week later to purchase a bike, Andy wasn’t available, the chap who looked after me spent another 2 hours assisting and provided invaluable knowledge of accessories I required. To prove these guys aren’t just providing an exceptional level of service for financial gain, I had an issue with one of my cleats after my first ride, went back in, the chap who looked after me couldn’t be more apologetic, owned the issue, provided FREE support and replacement part AND even a free cup of tea. It takes a lot to impress me, but these guys have truly blown me away. Buying online prevents people like this competing in today’s market. These guys make it a pleasure to deal with a local company, with fantastic values and an honest, genuine approach to customer care. Keep up the great work.

Great cafe for vegetarians and neat eaters alike with very original and healthy food on offer. . Many tempting bikes to look at too! Perfectly placed on our walk from the Park and Ride into York via a lovely footpath.

Great staff. Lovely place. Fantastic cafe inside the shop. Have a look on Google maps you can walk in online. Good range of bikes and plenty of chance to try them out. The cycle track is right next door and you can walk here from York centre easily. There is a very wide old and very quiet few streets right outside as well. Perfect for test riding bikes!! It just couldn't be better and as we were looking at a 4 figure electric bike, I wanted plenty of riding practice to find the right one. I bought a bike.!!!!

Tremendously helpful and knowledgable staff. Completely unpatronising. I got first class advice on height of saddle after knee injury; and wonderful advice on buying a new bike. It was a wet day and yet I was invited to try out new bikes- unlike Liv bikes in York who said "Could you come back when the weather is better, as we don't want out bikes muddied in the showroom"! None of that nonsense at Cycle Heaven. Thoroughly recommended.
