As our usual chinese was closed for the whole of Feb Chinese New Year we decided to try 888 and oh boy we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, large portions and delivered on time. It is definitely not the cheapest and I thought that £5 delivery charge to Bearwood was a bit steep BUT it was well worth it. The girl that delivered our food was lovely and friendly. We will definitely order again, it is really hard to find a good takeaway these days!!

Awful awful experience we order from this place all the time. but the last 2 times we’ve ordered £30 worth of chinese and been told our payments have gone void and to pay again, we was on the phone for 40 minutes each time, payment was never refunded the 1st time. Sadly won’t be ordering from here ever again as this had completely ruined our experience.

Seriously gone down hill, not sure if new owners but food quality has changed completely. Horrible food could not eat anything. On top of that they have raised their prices an extortionate amount.

Awful, food has gone way down hill not sure If It has new owners but everything was soggy as though It was re-heated from the day before, It used to be nice and fresh, now It's just bland and twice as expensive, will never go there again. VERY POOR.Food: 1/5

Terrible, waited 1 hour 20 minutes for takeaway. Rang the restaurant only to be told they hadn't even started cooking our food and that it would be a further 30 minutes.

888 Chinese Takeaway 2.1.24 7.45pm  Excellent ! Called in gor a cheeky takeaway after long day. Service excellent, Food even better and catered for our dietary requirements !  We will be back....Happy New Year

Have used 888 for a couple of years and the food is always amazing.  However tonight we ordered at 5.30 and was told 30 minutes,  at 7.30 still no food so called and cancelled as our daughter was tired and hungry , 10 minutes later 888 sent our food with an apology and no charge,  thankyou 888 we appreciate when your food is good you will be very busy , happy Christmas
