Checked on line for availability of item, shown as available. Travelled 25 miles to the store, got to store to find none in stock, offered to take display item at price shown but was told that wasn't possible but I may be able to buy it in a few weeks at a discount in the ex display sale. No amount of rationalle could persuade the youth who we spoke too to see a manager and at least ask if this could be done. I don't know which customer care course he attended but it has left him with the social skills of a midge at a picnic. 25 miles back home, a gallon and a half of fuel for nothing. It is little wonder that more people are opting for Amazon and its contemporaries.
We went in about laptops. Sales assistant just went on about different bundles. I had repeat self few times I just interested about laptop and which one be best for us before we buy any thing. She still went well need this bundle this that and other. Didn't listen not friendly or professional. Definitely won't go there again. TV advertising is wrong if people what items from there for friendly listen before advise lol
Eventually a very nice man served us, went for a trolly for us and put the microwave on it. The lady at the till was very pleasant and even thanked me for returning the trolley. The most impressive thing is that if you find an item on the Internet they most likely will price match
Excellent choice of products, very helpful and caring staff, staff member brought me a chair to sit on while explaining about TV's, then brought it over to fill out paperwork at the till. NOT many stores have chairs for elderly and disabled customers, really appreciated the gesture.
Wow… management need to have a serious discussion about the behaviours of their staff on the floor. What appeared to be hundreds of them stood about, the body language, eye contact, attitude, demeanour of them is absolutely awful eye rolling, pointed to a display when I asked where something was, loaded up a tablet and went ‘sorry we’ve got none, you can try online’. A lot of nice tech and POS absolutely everywhere, and you walk in … and you want to walk straight back out because they have zero customer service skills and can’t strike up a great conversation. Came here 6 years ago and was mis-sold Insurance; never been back, and here we are years later… it’s still Currys.
Payed a visit brought a item. Took item back next day. Would not refunded me. Lee the manager there is very rude. And seems to have no customer service values. Not what I would expect from Currys. Would not refund me. I would recommend anyone looking for electricals should try Jessop's if you're not happy you can return products and get a full refund. I won't be shopping at Currys no more.
Good size store just nothing really in stock. At the camera section there was only one lens on display and one tripod. Normally just a lot of empty shelves.
After waiting around trying to get someone’s attention I had to walk to find someone who was not welcoming at all. Then after waiting for 10 minutes he came back to say the items I wanted were “too far back” on a delivery pallet, so left empty handed. Went back in to complain and all I got was an apology to say they are understaffed. Not helpful at all and won’t be coming to the store again. The level of Laziness is disgusting
Used this for breakfast and lunch. For the last 4 days while doing up sons flat nearby. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, even has an interactive quiz Sunday 8pm.
Really great selection and very helpful staff. We got everything we wanted for an excellent price.
