Went for a Christmas party with work and while the food was reasonable it was expensive for what we got and quite slow to come. Another party containing a friend of mine were waiting far longer and again got mediocre food. The staff were lovely, very helpful but I might suggest getting more of them or training them to be more efficient and improving the kitchen if you wish to charge this much for food. The higher prices at Christmas should be offset with more staff so there isn't hour-long delays with dinner.
From the moment we walked through the doors of Currans and were greeted by our waiter Darren, both myself and my sister felt so relaxed. The food was amazing, the service second to none, and our lovely waiter Darren was so helpful that we decided to book the following night there too. Although they had 4 hen parties booked in also, we didn't once feel like the service was slow or that they were under pressure. I cannot fault the staff nor the food and the fact that you can bring your own drink is an added bonus! Well done to everyone at Currans, when we visit Cork again, we will definately be heading to Currans.
Staff really friendly. Very good for group dinner. I miss the crumble brie a lot and their desserts.
I found the staff very friendly.I have alot of dietary requirements and they were so accommodating and helpful.I really appreciated it alot,as I don't often receive such nice and helpful service when it comes to eatting out.I will most definitely be back and recommend it.
When food isn't the most important thing on a night out, but a pleasant atmosphere. Currans is a great for catching up especially in groups.
Haven t been there for a while now but love to go there with my son for sentimental reasons he bought me lunch with his first wage many years ago it is also a great place to go with a few friends.
