I am a leaseholder moved in to my property November 2020. I sent a polite email asking basically what is my responsibility being a first time buyer I don’t know no reply.all of a sudden we were awoken one morning to find Mears workmen on our balcony no warning correspondence etc. They removed 3 pieces of wood and replaced with same. They also mentioned coming back to paint them and the exterior doors which are not my responsibility A guy turned up some time later and when he found out I was a leaseholder he said I may be here ‘Monday I may not. Now I’m receiving letters asking for over £200 payment I queried what for as the work which I was told was going to be done hasn’t been. I’m still sending emails to which I am getting no response. Not one single response since November 2020!!! Cross keys have no customer service skills whatsoever I’m really annoyed now whereas in the beginning I was making initial enquiries. Just shows how a company who don’t respond can turn peoples attitudes. I would give 0 but that isn’t an option!
I contacted Cross Keys today, as my porch light is not working and this is an health and safety issue, especially when it is dark outside and people call. It was suggested I contact the council, but they said I was ineligible for help. Cross Keys just say it is in my contract I should change light bulbs. The casing is seized, so with arthritic hands, I am unable to remove. Only other suggestion was to employ a private person to do work on their property. No real help at all. I tried myself, standing on a chair on my tiptoes, despite health conditions and being in mid 60s. I managed to lever the casing open and could find no bulb or holder in there. I then called CK back and now they want photographs, despite my telling them I strained my back levering the case open. Although always polite, at no time did any member of staff ask me if I was ok. Shocking !
Im wanting to be absolutely honest in writing this review but to be honest I do not know where to start. I’ve never dealt with such defensive, unhelpful vague employees that I’ve come into contact with Due to the extent of my complaint & frustration in dealing with such unprofessional abrupt telephone staff I was refused being given the Property quality Managers email address hoping to at least if my complaints will be takin seriously I was told I couldn’t have the email address for this employee as it was private I truly feel hand on my heart that CKH tenants deserve a bit more respect!
Utterly dissatisfied with the service I've received, a year ago I sent a request through to the defects department in regards to the back door of my new house having a gap in the glass which was letting in the cold air. A year later this has not been resolved, it seems the team did not chase the developers unless I have chased them, each time I only received responses that they have not yet heard from the developer or that there is an issue with the supplier. With the cost of heating gone up I have not been able to put my heating on due to loss which would have been made due to the gap. I do not understand why it has taken so long to be sorted.
03 July 2018: Open for business. Bright and spacious with friendly staff. 11 June 2018: This is a new city-centre office for Crosskeys. It isn't yet signed or open but will be soon.
Just had a fantastic kitchen refit carried by cross keys homes the quality and workmanship was to a great standard we was kept informed 100% all the way during the project Mr John Cox was professional in his manner a truly great guy to deal with sovereign the contractor superb lads nothing was too much trouble friendly and polite would recommend to anyone
Do not rate cross keys homes in the slightest. Such an unsupportive, negligible company who don’t care about their tenants. I had to flee my home with my one year old baby. They allowed my abuser to continue living there even though causing someone to have to leave their home because of domestic violence goes against their contract. There were multiple breaches of the tenancy agreement and they did not care. They continued to allow him to live there, and move multiple women in and out as he pleased.. even getting one of them pregnant. This baby now lives in what was meant to be my daughters bedroom in her home. Meanwhile we had to live in absolute squalor for almost two years.. I have had court orders and protection orders granted, and still cross keys done nothing. The amount of stress they caused me was unreal. Never again would I live in another cross keys property, nor would I ever encourage anyone else to do so. Avoid at all cost.
Stacy Pikering should know how to replying emails or even atleast bother to reply to them when solicitor asking for something!! Worst company ever
Why cant you help people who work to get later times for repairs.. we are not on the dole, we cant always be home and so home does not get fixed.. expecting us to waste holidays from work to fix your property. why do you protect liars in private homes and do nothing to help your tennants against bullying.
If I could give zero stars I would. Within 10 of mins being notified my great grandmother had passed, we received an in compassionate call asking when will we be surrendering her flat. No compassion or care at all
