Warmly welcomed, great beer
An excellent local pub serving a very good and extensive range of real ales. Well worth a visit.
Good pub, excellent beer. Not too dear either. Also within a 2 minute walk are some good takeaways. Especially for those who like me suffer from the beer munchies! On the bus route too only 10 minute bus ride for me!
Another great pub for real ale. Large selection straight from the barrel. A rarity these days. Basic but comfortable.

Unusual genuinely old small pub, with often changed Real Ales. A real fire in the worst of winter would be an extra attraction. Nice to be free of endless wall to wall sports screens & noise.

Cracking little boozer, one of the few remaining real pubs. Great banter at the bar, plenty of good beers on tap, perfect for a quick drink with friends, family, or just going in for a few jars on your own at the bar.
