Went in pretty much as it opened, having driven to Whitby early in the morning from West Yorkshire. We were cold, hungry and looking to get something to eat and a nice cup of tea for breakfast. The proprietor didn't do much to make us feel very welcome and made it feel as if our presence was an imposition because she'd opened the doors before she was fully ready to serve. He attitude at first was bordering on being combative. She became more friendly after we'd ordered but the mood was already soured. The food was ok but nothing to shout about. I'm also not a big fan of the décor style with lots of trite messages handpainted on signs. Probably a one-off but I probably won't bother returning when I'm next in town.
