Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. My father couldn’t make it up the 199 steps so he stayed at the cafe while we walked up to the abbey and came down. Ordered a much needed coffee. Friendly enough to let my son use the bathroom as well considering we only ordered one coffee. A lot to choose from on the menu too. Wish I hadn’t eaten prior to stopping in because the cake looked magnificent! Will be returning next time I’m in Whitby.

Lovely host and great customer relations. Lovely location with a great view of the harbour. Right outside the 199 steps upto the Abby.
