My boyfriend and I just spent an anniversary weekend at this hotel and we loved it. As soon as you enter your are greeted by the friendly staff and beautiful decor. They really know how to look after you and how to make the weekend extra special. We stayed in room 18 which had the most amazing views of the garden, and were able to make the most of the champagne high tea and dinner in the main restaurant. All of the food was outstanding, and each restaurant felt intimate but still had a great buzz. We were able to enjoy live music with harps and pianos playing into the evening. The following morning we enjoyed the spa, even without taking advantage of the treatments we were able to spent a couple of hours enjoying the pool and steam room, all of the facilities were spotless and luxurious. I highly recommend this weekend for a couples get away. You really feel you are in the countryside and it’s a perfect relaxing retreat. I hope to come back soon! If you are thinking of booking, just do it, you won’t be disappointed.

A stunning place in sumptuous grounds. I stayed here on a press trip with DS Automobiles and was blown away by the luxury. I've stayed at similar converted stately homes like this before, but I think this place has the edge on them. What I like is the attention to detail, not just in terms of design - which is extremely tasteful - but also service which was incredible. I particularly liked the spa. I'm a big swimmer and always check out hotel pools. This one (located in the grounds about 5 mins walk from reception) is both large and beautifully lit. Just one grumble. Why put the steps across the whole of one end so you can't turn properly when you are swimming. Other than that, amazing place!

Beautiful food, lovely spacious elegant rooms, and wonderful service. Perfect for a business meeting or a social event.

Treatment was great. Didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities as much as I would have liked but maybe next time. Look forward to going back.
