Luxury Hotel with superb facilities. Sited in magnificent grounds with Spa facilities. Car parking good. All staff friendly and enthusiastic. Currently undergoing small maintenance works.

What a discovery! Ive always known about cowley manor, but thought it would be snooty and unwelcoming and ridiculously expensive. I was worried might have to dress up super smart and whilst tracksuit probably not right it was really relaxing and the kids felt really comfortable. Finally tried it for Sunday lunch, and it was lovely. staff were friendly, setting is unbeatale and actually the costs were very reasonable. My only hesitation is in posting a review is that I'd like to keep it secret for us! But that wouldn't be fair.

Delightfully luxurious manor spa hotel in the middle of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. My wife and I spent a late anniversary weekend there (courtesy of our children) in February 2017. The room was huge, the bed was enormous and comfortable, and the bathroom one of the largest we have ever stayed - room size on its own. The cooked vegetarian breakfast was filling, and dinner on one evening was okay but perhaps not best value. What was tremendous value was the bar food (interestingly the pizza) and cocktails, one of which included marmalade and champagne (name forgotten) - thoroughly enjoyable after a long day walking across the countryside. Unfortunately we made the mistake of not booking a spa massage weeks in advance, a must for those who like to indulge.

Spacious, funky rooms. Magnificent grounds. Attentive staff. Only downside is that it's not much of a 'retreat' in that it's a little like a crèche. If came again (which I would), I'd bring the kids and fall in with the occasional chaos - for quiet relaxation, I'd go elsewhere...
