I had such a beautiful stay at No.131. I originally booked it because I wanted somewhere inspiring to spend a few days writing my book, and it was absolutely the right choice.nnThe hotel is stunning. Every detail feels thoughtfully finished and perfectly considered. I ended up spending a lot of time in my room, which was gorgeous and genuinely sparked my creativity. The bathtub was pure luxury. There is something about soaking there that feels wonderfully old English and indulgent.nnThe staff were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout my stay. As a solo traveller, I felt completely at ease and very well looked after, especially by the team at The Terrace, who made me feel genuinely welcome.nnThe food was divine and the whole experience felt special from start to finish.nnI enjoyed it so much that I have already booked again to celebrate my birthday.nnIf you are looking to get away somewhere beautiful, surround yourself with comfort and truly treat yourself, I could not recommend it more. This hotel is an experience, not just somewhere to sleep.

ALL STYLE, ZERO SUBSTANCE.nnIt's not when things go right that you get to see the true nature of a business. It's when they go wrong... and if they go wrong here, just be aware that you should think yourself lucky that you're being allowed to spend your hard earned money here and walk the same floorboards as these people.nnIf you're a potential customer of no.131 and Yoku, all you need to know is that you are signing up to pay boutique prices for 1 star service.nnFor context, I don't write many reviews. I have my own business and know how damaging they can be. All of my google reviews are 5 star for occasions worthy of praise. However, I make an exception for No.131 / Yoku because every now and again you come across something so completely sub-par that it's truly deserved.nMy experience was actually insulting...which is worsened by the fact this place claims to be high-end and boutique.nThere are clearly no livelihoods at stake here and that reflected in the service received.nnThe complaint I raised with them is too detailed to go into, but they have it all there to review. I've been given the strong impression that they simply just dont care though.nnConclusion: Nice interior design.

We been going to the same place for 7 years and I never get bored. Great atmosphere, fantastic music. Great service. Really enjoyable night. Best cocktails

We recently got married here- superb experience from start to finish. Cannot thank the staff enough. Particularly Georgie and Meg for their organisation and constant smiles! Big thanks to Henry the Chef - everyone is still raving about the food! Highly recommend this venue!

Had a lovely late lunch here on Friday 5th December 2025.nWeather was absolutely horrendous outside with the wind / rain battering the tents where we were sitted inside.nThe staff looking after us were lovely, didn't have to wait long for the starters.nThe 3 course festive meal I had was very nice and my Steak was cooked to perfection. Very little fat on the piece of steak which I prefernAlthough the overall bill was expensive just for 2 people £96 I didn't mind paying as the food and service was excellent.nIf you are a non drinker and just want Water make sure you specify tap water as the small bottles of still water they will bring you are VERY expensive!!!nHopefully going forward once the tents / marquee's have been replaced with a proper structure the overall experience eating outside @131 will be a lot better...
