Superb venue. We held a church weekend away there for 80 and it was perfect for us!

Just back from a long weekend in Osmotherley staying 4 nights at Cote Ghyll YHA

The whole group of us had a great time. The Hostel is clean the bedrooms are ensuite and the food we ate was first rate.

I am not sure why previous negative comments have been made as we found all the staff very helpful and put themselves out to accommodate dietary requirements and the babies and toddlers with our group.

I do remember YHA from the 70's and this hostel is nothing like those, thank goodness, It is still a very inexpensive form of accommodation and provides excellent facilities. It has a very good reputation for catering for groups and has an overflow annexe/apartment it uses when fully booked in the main building. 

I would not hesitate to return
