A Fabulous Stay !!! Me and my hubby booked just for the one night as we were going to a friend's wedding about two miles away. The room itself was spotlessly clean & uncluttered. The double bed was very comfortable and the en suite was spacious just like the room itself, which overlooked beautiful countryside. The three donkeys that live there are adorable and we were given the chance to feed them a couple of carrot treats. The breakfast was hearty and due to my dietary needs, nothing was too much trouble. We were even provided with a brief lift back to the wedding venue two miles away to collect our vehicle so we wouldn't have to book a taxi. Excellent service for a very reasonable price and we paid extra because we felt it was truly deserved. Will definitely come again and recommend to others. Thank you so much. Oh just one more thing, the hellos, good-byes and everything in between was so friendly, and just because I think it's too important not to mention, the shower is pretty good too.

Bankfoot Bed and breakfast at Northallerton uk. A safe, friendly bed and breakfast.I enjoyed my stay enormously, felt safe and secure on my own here. Breakfast was a dream,cooked or home made jam!! The room and en-suite was very clean comfortable as was the bed. I cannot recommend it enough,a beautiful area to stay in. Edit Delete

We (my friend Tom) and I booked in for a full week from 23/06/12 to tour North Yorkshire on our GoldWing motorbikes for a week. Deryck & Margaret made us so welcome from day one. Their hospitality was second to none; the breakfasts were fabulous with real home made jams & mamalade with plenty of hot toast and more if we wanted and the accommodation was very comfortable with tea/coffee/biscuits and a freeview TV. We were also offered the use of their huge garage to put our bikes in at the end of the day's ride which was greatly accepted. We had a small problem with one of the bikes and Deryck was so helpfull in giving us all the help he could, including power tools etc to sort the problem. We actually got caught in the horrendous downpour on 28/06/12 and once again Deryck & Margaret came to the rescue and gave us the facility to dry our bike gear out and also provided an electric heater. I must also mention Gill (the faithful Collie) who greeted us first thing and was there with tail wagging when we returned like a breath of fresh air. All in all our stay with them was FIRST CLASS and we were very grateful to them for making our stay so worthwhile and for giving us all the help they could in making our stay a memorable one. Well Deryck & Margaret, thank you for a great stay, we enjoyed it immensely.
