Costa is Costa. You get what it says on the tin. The selection of food is good, the staff are usually friendly and the coffee is ok. But it depends on who is making your coffee as to how your experience pans out. A cappuccino is not a latte with some chocolate on top. You would think a large chain would train its staff properly.

Was a really well run Costa, even during the Saturday rush. One of us has some funny allergies, and the manager Sam helped us amazingly in finding something for her to eat.

Visited Straiton branch. Dirty cups and pots- when asked for a clean cup was told it was coffee staining - I could rub stain off with fingers but when asked again was met with a cold hard state. Made to feel as if I was being difficult. Not asking for the moon- just a clean cup. Pity as other branches lovely.

Fast and efficient in serving good coffee and the premises is clean and well-kept. Staff not as smiley and friendly as those in Costa Galashiels tho, and no-one let me know when my food order was ready - I noticed it sitting on the counter and went to collect it.

Most chocolatey hot choc ive had in a costa however having to pay for tomato ketchup is a bit cheeky lassie said it was company policy however ive never had to pay in a costa before.
