Loved staying here. Beautiful building. Adele the owner is dedicated to making your stay as perfect as possible. Location is great. Food at breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend

Conveniently located and near town centre. Family is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and business as whole is well organised. Nice breakfast, continental and full english with vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Cornerways in October of 2017 for two wonderful nights. Adele and her family run the house with order,energy and panache. There isn't a problem or concern of the traveler or tourist they can't solve. Adele goes out of her way to please her guests; stay here! It's the best guest house in Carlisle.

Fantastic two night stay. Made to feel very welcome. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Adele and her team were exceptional. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel has a wonderfully homey feel and is run by a pleasant couple. The room was of decent size, but as we were on the top floor, the ceiling was slanted creating minor problems for us tall folk. If you like blue toilet water, the hotel offers that in its bathrooms. For breakfast, we had a nice English breakfast with standard coffee and orange juice offered as well. Cornerways is a comfortable place to stay if you are looking for a place with a blue collar feel.
