Corn Mill

About

DINING AT OUR HARDYS HOUSE,There is something for everyone at our Hardy's House restaurant and pub from a quick light bite to a three course meal.

Story

Situated in the small town of Beeston which is located in the suburbs of Nottingham. The Corn Mill is unrecognisable following our refurbishment in October 2009. We have a totally different look with very upmarket décor, beautiful, plush with sumptuous wallpaper, great big drapes and a mixture of high & low seating. Families can enjoy their meal in booth seating with TV's in them showing Freeview channels. Our brand new bar now extends right round into the restaurant. We now have an area for adult dining only with extra seating. There is something for everyone here. Food is available daily from an extensive main menu and at selected times there are value for money and senior citizen menus, which offers lower prices on selected dishes. You can also find our specials board which offers mouth watering homemade dishes. On Sundays we have our delicious traditional roast lunch, which is excellent value. There is an extensive bar with plenty of lagers, beers and three real ales as well as a range of wines available by the glass or bottle. Children are welcome and have their own purpose built outdoor play area to keep them amused. Live entertainment is held weekly and a poker evening which are so popular with regulars and visitors, all are welcome to join in. We have friendly staff and excellent facilities to make the Corn Mill well worth a visit.

Lovely food and great service. Highly recommended! 5 stars.
Lovely food busy pub..children welcome staff really nice..worth a visit
Nice to be looked after but sometimes it can be over the top. Someone kept checking on the table every few minutes and it felt too much . Conversation and eating our meal was constantly interrupted. Then we were asked if everything was finished with when we were clearly still eating . Asked if we needed more drinks when there were 3 full glasses of drink on table. It was just a little over the top on this occasion, however nice evening spent and food was good .
I have been to the Cornmill on many occasions, and the food is really good. I had a reservation booked for boxing day, and I have been looking forward to the set menu, but unfortunately, the food that was presented to me was not very good. The mushroom starter that I had was nice, but the garlic bread served with it was a bit chewy. The main course I had was the beyond burger with chips and onion rings, and to be honest on this occasion, McDonald's would have been better, and the cheese cake desert was soggy. Unless I get a reply from the Cornmill, I am afraid they have lost my future custom.
Popular for dining and socialising on a Sunday afternoon. I had a Sunday roast dinner - a plate of roast beef, slightly undercooked and cool green vegetables all dominated by a large Yorkshire pudding the whole served barely warm enough. The staff were helpful and efficient but my nearly £14 single plate of uninspiring food left me feeling underwhelmed by the visit.
I only went in for a beer but it's obviously popular. Very nice with plenty of seating. A DJ was there at one end with people dancing. Big parking lot too.
Hi. The meals, 3 people, were mostly very nice, however each of the side salads were well past their best. The peppers were 'glassy' as if stored in too low a temperature and some of the leaves were slimy dark green, which spoilt the rest. Not sure I'd recommend anyone else to have a meal with a salad at this pub.
Had a lovely evening, had a mix grill, wasn't too keen on sausages has they had rosemary in them, personal choice I surpose. Apart from that staff were polite and did their job well.
We were here yesterday evening , we were 6 adults and 2 little people who were celebrating their 1st and 4th birthdays, we had such a lovely time , the good was perfect and the service was brilliant, thank you
Good service, good food.
