Went here for a birthday occassion and it was an absolutely gorgeous venue. Vsry spacious with air-con inside. Service was brilliant aswell thanks Caydee! and the sunday dinners came very fast. Me & my dad shared the Whole Chicken Roast Sharing Board while my mum had the Chicken Supreme Meal. The food was mostly incredible but felt that the green beans and brocoli weren't fully up to standard. The rest of the food was abdolutely incredible though, and so was the Hot Honey Peach Marg that I had with the meal. Will definitely be coming back.
What an incredible first experience at The Butchers at Westgate! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely waitress and seated in a beautifully modern and stylish restaurant.nnOur waitress, Caydee, was outstanding - friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly helpful. She made sure our drinks arrived quickly and happily checked with the chef to accommodate our no-pork dietary requirements. We even overheard her double-checking our Mega Roast for Two with the chef before it came out, which really showed how much she cared about getting everything right.nnThe food was absolutely unreal - every single bite was delicious! Caydee checked back to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything else, which we really appreciated.nnAndy, the restaurant manager, also came over to see how we were getting on. She was so warm and welcoming, offering us extra vegetables and later checking that everything was okay when she noticed we’d stopped eating we were simply defeated by the generous portions!. She kindly brought us takeaway boxes and took the time to introduce herself and tell us about the Friday and Saturday menus.nnWe knew we’d be coming back before we’d even finished our meal, but the fantastic service has made us want to return even sooner. We’ll definitely be back and bringing family and friends with us. A perfect meal and an unforgettable experience!
We had a lovely time here for dinner. Andie & Bea were so attentive, the atmosphere was fantastic and the food was absolutely AMAZING. I’m also coeliac and the team took great care of me. Would highly recommend
Wow... what can I say about this place. FAULTLESS. From walking in and throughout the night, Andie was so atentative throughout the evening, helping us to enjoy a special occasion. The food and service was simply amazing, so tasteful and lovely presented.nA wonderful evening and a well hidden gem of a location that deserves all the recognition.nThank you
I can’t tell you just how lovely this whole experience was, from the booking to arriving, being given a bunch of daffs, our table positioning all fabulous. On the actual food, although I was celebrating my birthday, it happened to be Mother’s Day so a set menu of choices, all too lovely to actually choose but I settled for the terrine, mega roast and cheesecake. My other half had the fishcakes, steak and creme brûlée. All utterly remarkable and delicious!! A very reasonable price in my opinion and extremely generous portions.nWe will certainly be back, too good not to nThank you for a wonderful visit x
