Fantastic hotel. Great club room with a view over the quays. Quiet at night. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast very good. Ideal location, tram stop 5 mins away into city centre. 15 min scenic walk along the quays to get to media city, full of restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again. This hotel is close to transportation and is walkable. There is a supermarket across the street. There is a restaurant on site, and the meals are tasty and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and approachable. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms and no airport shuttle. Additionally, there is a fee for early check-in. Great for solo travel. Rooms: The rooms are clean. Safety: It is located in a safe area and you feel safe in the hotel. Walkability: It is easily walkable.
I stayed at this hotel for two weeks. The staff is friendly at first glance. Unfortunately, a week after my stay, I received 2 fines of 40£ each for the free parking space. Since then, the reception has refused to communicate with me to find an amicable solution. An absolute cheek. Rooms: Sehr alt
Great location 2 mins walk from the tram stop which made it very easy to commute. It has one of the loveliest restaurant views. But the room was a disaster. There was a big spider wondering on the bed, and the bedsheets/covers were very itchy we couldnt sleep.. it was quite a difficult night!Rooms: 2/5
Tired Tired No attention to detail from staff - a good tray stayed outside a room and was walked past dozens of times for over 18 hours. BUT its very very keenly priced and the rooms are large and comfortable. Only lacking AC So while it's very outdated and the staff lacking polish it's also cheap and for that I cam overlook the issues. Would recommend- but go in knowing it ain't a fancy place - it's comfortable and good location.
Reasonable location. Room was okay but the heating was on in the middle of summer and bathroom amenities were minimal. Service was rated low because both of the carpark check-in screens were down. No different from a budget hotel. Breakfast was alright.
The hotel's facilities are slightly outdated, and the hot and cold water separate taps make it impossible for you to wash your face quickly with the right warm water. The location was perfect for some time to go for a walk after getting back to the hotel. Most of the service staff are friendly and try to help solve problems. The waiter at breakfast was a bit discriminatory against Asians, an Asian woman who didn't know English, after he asked for the room number, she turned around to get the room card, and he immediately serviced a white couple, which was fine, although at this time there were only couples on the queue. He had a good chat with them, 2 tables away, the Asian woman came back to show him the room number, but the waiter stopped smiling, prompted her to go to the line, and turned around to continue chatting with the couple great customer service. I thought that the Chinese women were jumping the queues and then walking up to help translate the situation, and then the waiter, whose eyesight was on the Chinese women for 1 second, drew a circle on the paper and said OK. I don't know if this is said to the couples or the Chinese women. And then he turned his head and said OK once more as if we were too stupid to get him. That ok is say to us. Anyway, we left and he was very nice to the couple. Believe they all have a great day. But she didn't. I watched the whole performance of what he did. The Chinese female doesn't deserve a smile, even though she arrived first. Even if you don't like Asians for any reason, please be professional at work. Btw the waitresses who served in the bar and restaurant area were all very friendly. Thanks
Location near tram, Coronation street tour is 20 min walk, outlet centre near by, hotel is a bit outdated but the view is beautiful and the food is really amazing. I stayed in Marriott the night before n it was a really bad experience,was so happy with our stay here. Staff were excellent nothing was too much .Rooms: 4/5
Such a comfortable mattress in room 317! I have emailed to find out what mattress it is, much better than my own Emma Sleep mattress. The road noise is loud but it was a hot night so the fan drowned that out and was powerful enough to keep us cool but despite any disturbance of noise outside, the fan not being quite as good as aircon and the room being a little dated I did not want to get out of that comfortable bed in the morning!
