Friendly and attentive staff, young lad on reception desk was extremely polite, friendly and helpful during our stay! Didn't catch his name unfortunately! Would definitely recommend stopping here. Room was a really decent size, everything was clean and tidy. Easy access to the gym if required! 10/10 would stop here again!Rooms: 5/5
Wonderfully friendly staff, and location is nice while still tucked away from the most touristy parts. There's a free bus line running to the city centre/station from across the street, which was super convenient with luggage. Room & furniture were a little worn out, but all in all it was good value for money.
Our room was a great size and beautiful view of the canal. The bed was really comfy, although it was 2 singles that had been joined, so there was a gap in the middle. The staff were are really lovely, welcoming and helpful. They can make vegan sausages for the breakfast as well, on request. It’s cheaper to book breakfast the night £9ish before than on the day £12ish. Pool was lovely, great gym facilities, and sauna and steam room! Very easy to get to via public transport/walking. Would definitely stay again.
Perfectly located 5 minutes from the city centre, but away from all the noise and city centre bustle. Located on the canal, this hotel is ideal for long walks and canalside pubs. The outside terrace was a relaxing place to enjoy a drink in the sunshine on our arrival. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Especially Ann and Ethan. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a hairdryer and ironing board provided. It was a bit noisy at night, but I would expect that in the city centre. The breakfast was a full English help yourself buffet and was delicious. The secure parking worth every penny. The only negatives that didn't affect us but may be inconvenient for other customers were the steps to enter the hotel from the carpark possible lift entrance via the gym? and basic bar meals at the time of our visit really close to other food venues though This will definitely be our go to hotel on any visit to Manchester. We have already recommended it to several friends. Rooms: Spacious rooms with hairdryer, ironing board and iron included.
Just the best experience I’ve had in a hotel ever and I’ve stayed in five star hotels previously. This is a place to meet great people and have fun. The staff are the loveliest I have ever met and genuinely do everything to cater to your every need. I was having some personal problems at the time and they genuinely were incredible with me. Huge shout out to Denim & Dean, you’re wonderful human beings and I’m so happy I stayed there just so I could meet you both! Can’t wait to come back again in future. The General Manager is also a top bloke. Really sorted me out during a time of need.
Great value in a great location. Facilities to suit everyone! Aside from that, the best experience in staying here is the friendly, helpful happy staff. They make this hotel a great place to stay. I couldn’t recommend a stay here highly enough. 11/10. Nearby activities: Close to everything. Plenty of bars, restaurants are close by. Ubers will have you anywhere in Manchester from here if needed. Walkability: You can walk to most local attractions. Taxis and Ubers are outside almost all of the time. Food & drinks: Breakfast is great. Self service buffet. Brunch, lunch during the day and bar food in the evenings. It’s not gormet but it is great value.
Stayed here for a night whilst visiting Manchester. Great rooms; spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Parking available on site however would recommend checking the location prior to arriving as we couldn’t find it.Rooms: 4/5
The hotel is very easy to find. There are clear signs on the main road directing you to the hotel correctly. The reception service was very good. Greyson who met us at the reception did a great job in taking care of our luggage. With thanks for your careful work.Rooms: 5/5
Really good experience. We asked if we could leave our car in the car park after checking out to which the girls the night before said it's fine and there's no limit, but the next day the chap at reception asked that we moved the car by 1pm.Rooms: 5/5
The mattress are very old. I got back pain sleeping on it for the second time. I had to sleep on the floor. The room was never cleaned during my stay. This include the bathroom, towels, and more. The bin in my room was there for the entire three days and was never emptied. I started getting allergies on the second day. Though my original plan was to extend after day 3, these conditions made me leave.
