Great modern hotel with everything you need. The restaurant food was average, and the customer service from staff there very underwhelming - but no complaints about the rest of the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very well equipped with a comfortable bed. Modern, clean and in a good location. The staff is very friendly, especially Mrs. Żaneta - a wonderful, positive and helpful person. Hot and very tasty breakfasts. I will definitely come back here again.Rooms: 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s not fancy but it’s spacious, comfortable and everything you need. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had in a while. The breakfast was a buffet hot breakfast and it was pretty good. The location is brilliant - steps away from the tram and from great places to eat and drink. They don’t have a car park but offer discounts at Q Park but the closest car park is NCP Central.
Not as quirky as I thought it's going to be, but very nice, clean and modern. Very close to the conference I attended and the city centre and easy to reach from the train station. Lots of restaurants and bars just around the corner. Rooms were fine even though the office chair with wheels got stuck on the carpet all the time, which was just not thought through very well. Room cleaning service the first day seems to have only cleaned half the room, but it didn't bother me. Breakfast was fine, but if you expect a more continental selection, you won't find much. The juice was literally coloured water. Overall very suitable for my needs, but as I fancy quirky places, that was not quite it.
I travelled on business to attend a conference so the location was perfect. When I first arrived at my room I was extremely surprised t find that it was a wheelchair accessible one; I am not a wheelchair user. I found this odd but couldn't be bothered returning to the busy reception desk so thought I'd just make do. Having had a poor food experience in another Leonardo hotel, I was hesitant about trying the room service but was so tired I braved it. The food was absolutely beautiful! Cooked to perfection, tasty and good portion size. The bed was quite comfortable and after a reasonable night I went down to breakfast. After the previous evening's food, I had high expectations, but alas, the food was acceptable but nothing special. Worse was to come - the coffee machines were out of order and awaiting an engineer! No alternative plan was offered, so I had to make do with half a cup of instant in my room. I then had a shower - this was a dreadful experience as I am not a wheelchair user. The water went all over the floor outside the shower as the curtains are short presumably to avoid becoming entangled with wheels and I then had nowhere dry to stand to dry off, other than away from any grab rails. Everything in the room - towel hangers, drawers, shelves and desk were wheelchair height which aggravated my back as I am tall. The other discomforting thing was the self-close door to the room which took forever to do so, leaving me standing at my door until it was safely shut every time I opened it. As a woman alone, this could be a problem. Finally, I packed up and went down to check out and was planning to give my feedback - in a polite and constructive manner, but the queue was very long and there was only one receptionist on duty. There was no key-drop so in the end I just left my room key on the desk and left as I couldn't be late. I think it's great that the hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms and not just on the ground floor. However, I now know that these do not work for me so in future would ask to change rooms. I am uncertain if I'd stay here again, and in fact am wary of my my personal booking in another Leonardo next month. I think my experience was a series of little things which unfortunately led to me feeling negative when combined. Rooms: Wheelchair accessible rooms available. Nearby activities: Manchester Central convention centre is just a couple of minutes' walk away so ideal location.
Very pleased with my stay. Very attentive and friendly staff. Great location with 25% discount for a very secure and safe car park nearby First St Q-Park. I would definitely stay here again. Rooms: Clean and modern with all amenities. There was a sizeable TV, an iron and board in the room, and the bed was very comfortable. Safety: Very safe. Reception was manned 24 hours Walkability: Easy walking distance to all the main areas of the city centre
This was booked as a Day-Use, which I was a little apprehensive about, but this was unfounded. The booking process was very easy. When I arrived at the hotel, the room wasn't quite ready, so I waited for a short while. However, I was offered breakfast while I was waiting, which was gratefully received; thank you. The room was lovely, fresh, clean and very well presented, and included a bottle each of Sparkling and still water, with the usual, Tea, Coffee, and Hot Chocolate along with some biscuits, which was a nice touch. The reception staff are brilliant, and made me feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!
The location is prime. City centre, walking distance to all that you need. Ideal for the Xpo centre. We were not told at time of booking about the discounted parking option which caused unnecessary stress upon arrival - so do ask about that beforehand. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Rooms nice and clean.Rooms: 5/5
I really did enjoy my stay at this hotel, the rooms always clean & tidy. Comfortable beds, and with the tram stop a short walk away, an ideal location for getting into town for the shops, the nearby theatre - or to visit one of their local football clubsRooms: 5/5
