Used the parts department at Berry Cobham for some bits for my E46 M3. Matt got the parts in next day after ordering them late the day before.nOn arrival, everyone was super friendly, happy to see a classic M car and had a chat. The showrooms were immaculate and everyone was very polite.nWould happily use again.
We arrived without an appointment, Marvin was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. He went out of his way to show us cars available, within our budget and specifications. Ben took over as Marvin is now on holiday. He to has been pleasant, patient and kind. We have purchased several BMW over the years, on the service received this time we will be back thank you
Collected my new M2 from Berry, Cobham yesterday 13/04/24 Dhan has communicated promptly & been professional at every stage of my transaction, so is highly recommended if you’re looking to source a BMW.
Absolutely appalling service.nnTo begin with, they tried to add an admin fee to a £30,000 car without advising. Removed after dispute, although they blamed the BMW website, even though I've never had that before. The listed price should be the 'walk away' price.nnWas told the car was in excellent condition with a couple of minor issues to be sorted prior to collection so paid the balance and before arriving was told the issues hadn't been sorted. Went to collect the car and saw it in the car park before speaking to anyone only to find an inch long scratch on the drivers door, along with 3 dents on the passenger side. I went inside and asked to speak to Simon Omar the used car sales manager, he was rude and dismissive. He said having the issues repaired in an approved workshop wasn't an issue and they'd only find a smart repair, given the issues so far I wasn't convinced they would sort the problems to a fair standard. I was told they'd missed the dents I seriously doubt they wouldn't have been missed when they bought the car.nnSimon was rude to both myself and my friend and when asked if he thought it was fair we should travel a 500 mile round trip to find the car in the condition it was presented, he simply shrugged his shoulders, said 'refund then' and proceeded to turn his back and walk away. By this point, I was incensed and asked when I could expect the money in my account, to be told 'by Tuesday' it was a Saturday.nnThe refund for the main balance was late being returned and I spent the best part of a month chasing the deposit refund £1,000 with Jason Wright who assured me it had been processed. After the near month of waiting, I received a notice from Worldpay which stated the refund had only just been processed.nnQuite honestly some of the worst customer services I've ever seen and as stated repeatedly, all I wanted was the car provided in the condition advertised, for the price advertised.nnI've since purchased an M340D from Stephen James in Ruxley and all I can say is the difference in service is night and day. Exactly as advertised and faultless effort from them to ensure everything was perfect.
I’m leaving 2 stars because of my choice of vehicle. I would leave a one star. However I’m quite disappointed in Berry Cobham and the service provided to me throughout my purchase of an M2 Competition within the first 2 months of ownership. The bad experience all started off with the unanswered phone calls/emails. I’ve had to pay for my own tyres before purchasing the car out of my own expense as they were selling the car to me with almost illegal tyres. Had damage on rear bumper and that was re-sprayed a different colour. Stone chips were going to “be sorted/touched in before collection “ weren’t even touched still there. I’ve now taken my car Into another BMW berry site 600 miles after purchase in end of February and I’m being told front tyres are almost illegal on inside and are the same tyres the car came out of factory from. I’m disappointed as I would’ve thought this was going to be checked as part of the used car checks. I believe my car was not thoroughly checked and many of my requests were ignored and the protocols weren’t enforced properly within the car checks. Looks like a business trying to get their stock out and get the numbers on their charts without a care for customer support and satisfaction.nDespite these issues, I would expect customer services to try and do their best in resolving these, however I found BMW customer services to be unsatisfactory in trying to resolve the problems the car came with.nThese are only some of the problems I’ve experienced, there are many more not mentioned.nOverall, I would not recommend BMW Berry Cobham for a performance car. I wasn’t given an option to transfer the car to my preferred Berry Chiswick site as cobham was selfish with their stock.
