My Wife and I stopped by here today on the off chance that we could get a meal. It's a lovely looking pub with a nice size car park. We were served by a lovely waitress named Sophie who was so friendly and good at what she does. My Wife had a delicious roast dinner and I had the steak and ale pie which was also top notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.
Can't speak highly enough of this place. Food is fantastic. Staff very welcoming and tentative. The land lady is an absolute star. Looked after my family like it was her own. Thank you. Highly recommend a visit for a nice meal or just a drink .Rooms: 3/5

We had a meal here and it was fantastic. The chicken Kiev was incredibly succulent and the truffle fries lovely. We were well looked after as a large group of 9, plus a dog.
Stayed overnight in there car park in my campervan, staff are pleasant and looked after my wife and my self very well, ate in the restaurant, had a fantastic steak and wife had a large fish, could not ask for more, very good in fact excellent and well worth the five stars I gave. Would definitely call in again if we are in the area.
Great dog friendly pub, lovely food and very welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble, the landlady provided a water dog bowl and doggy treats were on hand. Many thanks.
Excellent lamb rump with mini shepherds pie and veg and my wife had salmon and prawn cassoulet, very tasty. Great friendly service as well in a very old pub.
We were taking a coach to the NEC for the day. They kindly let us leave our car in their car park. We had a coffee and they actually took the time to put hot water in to warm the cup small detail but a must for a hot cappuccino! The food a service was top notch after a tiring day. We will be back if in the area.
