I called last night at 9pm because my cat doesn't feel well. Straight away I make a booking and I was there. Staff were very helpful and friendly.  They told me about the cost, obviously expensive but I know like this is everywhere.  Today I pick my cat up from vet and she seems to be much better than yesterday. Not 100% but I can see she s much better. Thank u for taking care of my cat.

staff were really lovely and informative. Friendly and welcoming all round. Veterinarian was also patient and caring- nice difference to the Uppingham Road branch who had a locum in my cat died not long after he saw her . All in all good practice would recommend.

I can’t thank the Staff enough. I took my elderly chihuahua in today who had become very ill very fast . From the first call they made me aware of the cost of an emergency appointmentBoxing Day and the cost of the consultation so that I didn’t have any nasty surprises . Although my dog is insured, money did not factor at all. And to be fair the level of care given was worth every penny. Initial checks didn’t identify the problem. The lovely vet Gillian went through options, and we decided to do some blood tests and see where we were after that. I was called within the hour with a diagnosis, treatment plan. The staff treated my boy with dignity and kindness at all times and were cheerful and professional, they made me feel extremely comfortable and above all listened to me whilst I sobbed. They are also helping with my insurance claim. A first class experience. I didn’t catch the name of the lovely girl who talked me through appointments and after talked to me about how well my boy had been whilst having his blood work, but she was amazing! Thank you so much.

Our cat was transferred from fosse park to medivets for treatment, unfortunately we didn’t get the outcome we wanted and our furbaby went over the rainbow bridge, what can I say… the staff were fantastic, the nurse Rachel I believe let us sit with him for an hour letting us say goodbye, they vet was compassionate and again told us to take our time making a very upsetting time a little easier. Receptionist again was lovely, I just wish we had the same treatment from our previous vets in Glenfield with our dog, so from the bottom of our hearts as a family we thank you.

This was our first time using this practice and I cannot praise them highly enough. First class service from the admission of my dog to his discharge 2 days later. Highly recommend this practice.

When I first signed up at Medivet, they were great with my rabbits. However, there has been an obvious decline in the past few months. Firstly, I was not informed that my local branch was closed as the vet had left. I then called the Birstall branch to book an appointment and was told the small animals vet at Birstall has also left. Thankfully, my rabbits have not had any emergencies recently, but it would have been nice to know this information in advance in case any emergencies did happen. Would not recommend if you have small/exotic pets.

Took a stray cat here recently and he was in a bad way bless him. The staff at medivet birstall took him in without question and cared for all his medical needs. I have rang to see how he is doing and they have been so friendly and helpful on the phone. Very happy to answer any questions and keep me updated. What a fantastic vets and amazing bunch of human beings. Thank you so much

Not happy at all, we are not renewing our yearly plan again. Everytime we call to request our pet's flea and worm treatment we have issues. We receive reminders and then call and they don't have the medication available but are also not able to give us alternatives. We receive mixed information everytime we call and it is really difficult to get an appointment outside normal people working hours.

The best veterinarian Birstall Medivet 24/7!    Twice saved my dog life. They never refused help, the employees were always kind and helpful.  I am very pleased and recommend it to everyone.

I was worried for my Ralph’s life but was quickly put at ease. We had a lot of stuff going off in personal life and didn’t register him at a vet. Not one single vet we rang locally to me would see him or take him on. Although this vets is quite far away from our house I’m now glad he is registered at a vet and quite glad it’s Medivet.
