Unsure if this co-op is trying to employ people with incompetence to be more inclusive, I watched  the dopey young girl at the cash register stare at an elderly lady as she dropped her stuff on the floor and enforce her to bag up her own items as she was clearly struggling. The complete disregard for people as they’re talking to her, ignoring what they’re saying and talking on the headset. Also watched her walk into a customer and scoff at her as the other girl profusely apologised - despite it not being her fault. These events have all happened on separate occasions so unaware if it’s a training error on the co-op’s side or the girl i’m referring to genuinely has something wrong with her, either or some staff training should be implemented. Very draining walking into shop and the cashier looks like they couldn’t be bothered if we lived or died.

This is a very friendly Covid safe and clean store. It also has a cashpoint machine and small dedicated carpark. Like most Co Op stores, it is quite expensive but a good place to visit for a top-up shop.

Just want to say the that Carole is one of the best workers there really Polite and always welcome you and packs my shopping I think she need 10 gold stars not 5 but as 5 the highest I can give you get 5 she is a star thank you Carole xxx

Perfect local Co-op with a wide selection of fresh and frozen items. Friendly helpful staff with direct access to free parking.

As a small shop serving a few villages with very few other options, it's a shame that they have no vegan options that the usual co-op have. However the staff are always friendly and the queues aren't too bad.
