As with many other Wetherspoons pubs, there is a lack of atmosphere. However, the selection of quality beers, at exceptionally cheap prices is fantastic a pint of Saltaire Cascade at £2.63!. Also, although the food is generally basic, I recently had the ‘new to the menu’ Ramon Noodle dish; this was excellent, particularly when adding the sliced chicken breast; wonderful flavours, perfect noodles and veg in a delicious broth; this dish could easily be served in a good restaurant - accompanied with a quality beer for less than £9, one can’t argue with that! The service is always excellent, the staff are welcoming and friendly.
Popped in mid week after work with friends from work. They had a beer festival on, with a huge range of beers to try. Ordered food, the new shawarma wrap meal. Food and pint were less than £10. Great price and lovely quality. Food came quick and serviced was exceptional. Very friendly service, Rachel the barmaid was doing a great job considering how busy it was and how rude some of the other patrons were being. Would happily come back again.

This is a place we Bob into every couple of weeks. The beer is great value and the food is good value too. Where it excels is the staff, friendly, hospitable and excellent customer service. I ordered a veggie wrap and unfortunately was given a meat one. This was rectified with minimum fuss in a very satisfactory way. The young man who dealt with it is a credit to the place. Thanks
Called in for a quick drink after shopping. Was very busy, not many free tables. But found a clean one. Ordered using app as couldn't find the drinks we wanted on the menu. Found on app straight away. The fruit coolers. Very tasty. Parking: Can park in Morrison's. Or on the high street. But like most wetherspoons it does not have its own car park.
Very VERY busy and packed. But good as always, just forgot two food items and drinks took so long we left before they arrived.Food: 4/5
Popped in one Saturday afternoon for an hour. The Clothier's is not how I remember it when my brother Stephen served behind the bar in the late seventies. Another cheap homogenised boozer. To see a place go from characterful to characterless is depressing. I like Wetherspoons pubs and am glad they are saving many which would otherwise be changed or flattened - but if I have one criticsim it would be they are very similar. I get why that is but I miss the individuality of the British pub, which is slowly disappearing from our country.
Disrespectful staff! Refused to serve, even though there was a queue. Decided to talk about us to other staff members over walkie talkies..... which isn't acceptable in any way shape or form. Perhaps instead of chopping a few lemons you should deal with a queue first! Also my first drink was served wrong, it was served with soda water over lemonade, then no offer of a substitute when we placed our next order. Wetherspoons..... this attitude towards customers isn't really up to scratch.....and it needs fixing.

This is a beautiful Wetherspoons with lovely interior design that makes it looks warm , cosy and inviting. Staff as always are friendly with quick service while using the app.The food is on par with all the others in the chain and well worth the money!!!!! Definitely worth a visit from anyone.
