We went to with my 5 years and 1.5 years old kids and spent very good time. My older boy loved climbing area and tried almost all platforms. I can recommend absolutely and we will visit again
Nice place for kids of all ages to do something healthy and entertaining at the same time. Good climbing areas. Down sides - packed a lot, so better to prebook. And expensive for the time you get for the price you pay. As more than first half an hour will be spent waiting and then training and buckling, very important steps. We will come back hopefully when our little one is in a better mood as she wasn’t doing much climbing
A great place for hosting birthday parties. We visited recently to attend Laila's party. My little one had a great time with her friends. The staff were very helpful to the parents hosting it. Need to book in advance because of a busy calendar they have for weekends. Citipark Church park was the closest parking lot with so many empty spaces. Overall a great experience.
Brill place for kids... and adult / big kids like me! Walls of different difficulty levels. Plenty of attendees around to get you hooked on / off the walls. Attendees are friendly, helpful, guide you on the walls, etc. Lots of fun. Kids loved it.
My grandchildren loved it here. Staff were great & encouraging of the children when they climbed. Only downside is when I booked online I ordered the blanket badges & although I wasn't charged for them there weren't any available, with the girl on reception not really seeming to know what I was talking about. Sadly I'd promised the children the badges so they were a bit disappointed by this.
Great facility! I took my daughter here and she had a blast. The quality of the walls and way it's all done is excellent. Plus the staff are brilliant. Only 3 stars because the walls are very dirty. There you can pick out the loose grit in the holds. It looks like soil and tobacco. Please improve the cleaning, it's grim.
Our 3rd visit, kids love it. Starts with a safety briefing and staff fitting the climbers with their harness. All perfectly timed, you then get just under 1 hour of climbing. A small number of parents can go in to supervise and there are plenty of helpful staff, who keep a close eye on the kids and offer to help. A variety of walls for all abilities, great for confidence and persistence in trying the climbs. My kids can't wait to go again. Recommend pre-booking to get a space. Always popular, but always more walls than climbers.
The soft play is absolutely dirty; I'm referring to the seating area and toilets. My sister and I were shocked with the dirty tables, no food or things cleared up after people had left the tables with their rubbish, the toilets smell of urine and floors are wet. Do you have a regular cleaning rota? Given the rent pandemic and basic general hygiene where CHILDREN and families go, the place should be cleaned and maintained regularly. We won't be visiting again.
When we arrived 1pm the next session for climbing was 4pm. We didn’t wait for that. My little girl went in for the soft play session for a few hours with an adult. Price was very decent as well for a 2 hour session. She enjoyed the soft play and it wasn’t too crowded. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would like to return do my son can have a try on the climbing frames etc.
Rock Up Watford is amazing! Varieties of climbing options are available for kids. A soft play area for very small kids is available with varieties of activities. My child likes this place. Good, nice, and healthy exercise options. Fear of height will go gradually. And safety measurements are good. Friendly and trained staff available for full help and support.
