A lovely walk along the Embankment on a sunny spring Saturday in February. I arrived eventually at Cleopatra's Needle and decided to take a few pictures of the two Sphinx and the Needle. The view across the Thames of the South Bank of the river was great. An enjoyable lunchtime walk.

Cold day but lovely spot

Beautiful and magnificent place! You can feel the power of the statues.

Underrated, amazing obelisk. The Sphinx have damage from WW1/shrapnel if you look close enough.

This place is pretty cool, especially if you got to see its twin in New York. Otherwise the photo is worth the detour.

Very interesting stories behind this obelisk. Many documented at the site.
